China replies ‘censor your players and management’!
Cancels pre-season telecasts and blocks access to NBA Paraphernalia.

In favor of liberty? Harsh against Communism?
What next, supporting the American way of life?
Not a chance.
Just keep the millions coming in, though. That kind of capitalism feels good.

I wonder how many people on this website would be OK if the GM of Real Madrid or Manchester United posted a Twitter message in support of Black Lives Matter.

It is not the role of the NBA to adjudicate those differences," Silver said in the statement. But, it was the league's role with transgender restroom laws.

At the same time, Silver made it clear the NBA would not be taking sides in the political dispute over civil rights in Hong Kong. The T's in LGBT going to bathroom damn right the NBA will take sides. China putting Uyghurs in concentration camps, committing cultural genocide against Tibet and Xinjiang, etc, NBA is fine ignoring as long as those Yuan keep rolling in.

Knock it off, Gollum. Just fly to Communist China with your staff and give Xi & his henchman the Lewinskys you’ve been promising.
Oh, and after, watch PDJT and South Park’s “Band in China” episode to learn how real Americans respond to threats from tyrants. (Although Comedy Central did cave to the Muzzies with the Mohammed episode.)

Haha. Too late. Everyone knows where they stand now. Can’t unring that bell!
And to all here who don’t understand or hate Twitter, this is one example of its benefit. It’s raw and unedited, before PR people can fix it up. It exposes people. Gets them on the record. Also one of the greatest things about President Trump. He has caused so many to reveal themselves.

The Chinese have helped to harm and kill more Americans post WWII than any other country yet we have always looked the other way toward them. All that matters is money.

Hong Kong is part of China. Anyone with half a brain left that place years ago before the British handed it back over to China. Im scratching my head here, trying to figure out what motivation a sports executive would have to even weigh in on that situation publicly.
Shut up and play basketball.
