BIDEN CAMPAIGN DEMANDS MEDIA STOP BOOKING GIULIANI
I just cannot imagine the reaction if the Trump campaign sent out letters to the media demanding that they stop booking Schiff on the many political talk shows.
Now I myself had some issues with Giuliani but they were minor. Mostly it seemed that, at least for a while, Rudy’s interviewers were shouting over him. And for a while Rudy was shouting back. The listener, folks like me, could not understand a word.
Yesterday, as of this writing, Sunday 9/29/19, however, I watched Rudy get interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on “This Week” and George allowed Rudy to answer the asked questions without interruption and tumult.
Which is, one might suppose, the reason why this letter went out requesting not having Rudy as a guest as it would seem the first defense against Rudy’s truth was to shout over the man.
At any rate, this is where we’re at. Biden gets to demand that those who speak ill of his son and his job with the Chinese and Ukranians digging, inspecting and selling natural gas, those talents that Hunter Biden is known wide and far for.

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign made an extraordinary request to executives of top news channels on Sunday, asking them to no longer book Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on their programs.
In a letter addressed to the heads of the major news and cable networks, as well as top news anchors, two top Biden campaign advisers make the case that by peddling routine falsehoods about the work of Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine, Giuliani’s presence on the airwaves is editorially untenable.
“We are writing today with grave concern that you continue to book Rudy Giuliani on your air to spread false, debunked conspiracy theories on behalf of Donald Trump. While you often fact check his statements in real time during your discussions, that is no longer enough. By giving him your air time, you are allowing him to introduce increasingly unhinged, unfounded and desperate lies into the national conversation,” the letter from top aides Anita Dunn and Kate Bedingfield reads.

BETO O’ROURKE THREATENS TO KILL KITTEN IF FUNDRAISING MONEY NOT SENT.
So okay, it was a joke, a take on a famous MAD magazine cover. Or some such.
It’s just if this guy ain’t roller skating, he’s getting a haircut. If he’s not threatening to take our guns he’s threatening to kill kittens.
He’s not funny.

Beto O'Rourke made fun of urgent, sky-is-falling, end-of-quarter fundraising pitches from his fellow 2020 Democrats by joking about threatening the life of a kitten.
"I am starting to run out of ways to show how important this deadline is," the former Texas congressman wrote in an email to supporters on Saturday with the subject line "Miss Whiskers."
"Maybe I could do a Facebook live stream with a kitten in hand and say, 'You know, we wouldn’t want anything to happen to this kitten now would we… Send your $5 now and Miss Whiskers will be fine.'
"To be clear, we’re not planning on harming any kittens," O'Rourke clarified. "But we do need your help."

RUDY GIULIANI SUBPOENAED, NOT SURE WHAT HE’S GOING TO DO
Well he was ordered by the DNC to be kept off of news shows because, well he was making them mighty nervous.
Now Giuliani has had documents subpoenaed from his recent trip to the Ukraine at the request of President Trump. The House committees said Giuliani wanted the government of the Ukraine to go after former VP and current presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Three U.S. House of Representatives committees said on Monday that a subpoena had been sent to President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, seeking documents in their impeachment inquiry. The House Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Oversight committees said Giuliani had said on national television that he asked the government of Ukraine to "target" former Vice President Joe Biden.

AUSTRALIAN OFFICIAL SENDS LETTER DISPUTING NY TIMES REPORT
So the NY Times publishes a story that President Trump wanted Australia to help AG Barr to help Mueller, the well-spoken, honest and fair investigator charged with getting rid of Trump, in, well, getting rid of Trump. The Times said that Trump wanted Australia to discredit Mueller. This was before Mueller did a fine job of discrediting himself.
However, turns out the Times was lying. The Australian ambassador responded to the request from Trump that Australia would be glad to help with the Mueller investigation into the possibility of Russian interference in the American election.
The NY Times, fake news always.

A letter emerged late on Monday from the Australian government that directly disputed the accuracy of a New York Times report that claimed that President Donald Trump “pushed” Australia to help Attorney General William Barr investigate the origins of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation in an attempt to “discredit” the investigation in what The Times claimed was an example of Trump “using high-level diplomacy to advance his personal political interests.”
The letter, reported by Nine News Australia’s Kerrie Yaxley, is dated May 28, 2019, from Australian Ambassador Joe Hockey to Barr, and states: Dear Attorney General,
I refer to President Trump’s announcement on 24 May that you will investigate the origins of the Federal Bureau of Investigations probe into Russian links to the 2016 US election.
I note that the President referred to Australia, the United Kingdom and the Ukraine as potential stakeholders. Moreover, I note that he has declassified intelligence material to support your investigation.
The Australian Government will use its best endeavors to support your efforts in this matter. While Australia’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, The Hon. Alexander Downer, is no longer employed by the government, we stand ready to provide you with all the relevant information to support your inquiries.
The Acting White House Chief of Staff, The Honorable Michael Mulvaney, has been copied on this letter.

GIRL ACCUSES MALE CLASSMATES AS IN JUSSIE SMOLLIET
Shades of Jussie Smolliet. If bored and need some attention, manufacture a big, fat lie. Then report it to the police that innocent people might have their lives ruined.
And above all else, IT IS NOT A HATE CRIME WHEN THE BLACK ONE LIES ABOUT THE WHITE ONES. Some how that became a rule, no one knows how.
She was lying.

A 12-year-old black girl from Virginia has recanted an accusation that her white sixth grade classmates pinned her down and cut off her dreadlocks, her family said in a statement Monday. Stephen Danish, the head of Immanuel Christian School, also confirmed the allegations were false.
Following an investigation by the Fairfax County Police Department, Danish said Amari Allen, the student who accused three of her classmates of assault, acknowledged the accusations were not true.
"While we are relieved to hear the truth and bring the events of the past few days to a close, we also feel tremendous pain for the victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict," he said. "We recognize that we now enter what will be a long season of healing."

AMBER GUYGER FOUND GUILTY OF MURDERING NEIGHBOR
This is one of the stranger, and more intriguing stories, of the week.
Amber Guyger is a cop who, weary from a long day, managed to enter her neighbor’s apartment. When she heard someone rustling about in what she thought, in her weariness, HER apartment, she pulled her gun and killed the real tenant.
First, I live alone and always lock my doors when I am inside. When I had a husband and animals all about I never bothered. But I’ve been hearing too many stories of elder people living alone who are suddenly attacked by criminals who sneaked into their house while they were home.
Second, I find it really hard to believe that someone would not recognize their own living quarters almost immediately upon entry. But ok, she was tired and sight might have been fuzzy.
Third, even if I thought there was someone else in my house upon my entry, I am not sure immediately pulling out a gun and shooting the guy was the right first action. Lord, she could have pulled out the gun and told him to put up his hands or something. You think? I mean it was an apartment complex. It could have been a maintenance man.
Well Guyger got found guilty by a jury today as of this writing.
Murder. Guilty of murder.
Well I sure don’t think she should just walk away from that horrific action, horrific times ten since it was a police officer.
But murder?
I’m thinking perhaps a lesser charge would have been more appropriate but I assume there will be an appeal.
What an incredibly sad event.

- A former Dallas police officer who fatally shot an unarmed man in his apartment was found guilty of murder by a Dallas County jury on Tuesday.
Guyger was off-duty but still in uniform after a long shift when she shot Botham Jean, a 26-year-old accountant from the Caribbean nation of St. Lucia. Murder carries a sentence of five to 99 years. The punishment phase, which will start Tuesday afternoon, will determine just how long her sentence will be.
Cheers erupted in the courthouse as the verdict was announced, and someone yelled "Thank you, Jesus!" In the hallway outside the courtroom where Guyger was tried, a crowd celebrated and said "black lives matter" in raised voices. When the prosecutors walked into the hall, they broke into cheers.

POLITICAL MISCELLANY
It’s kind of a slow news day with everyone tired of impeachment talk and politicians lying.
It would seem that Bernie Sanders, Senator from Vermont, was rushed to the hospital with chest pains.
He had two stents inserted.
No heart attack as of this writing has been reported.

Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days," said Sanders’ senior adviser Jeff Weaver on Wednesday in a statement. "We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.”

PRESIDENT TRUMP HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE WITH FINLAND
There was not much different about this press conference than many others. Trump was quite honest with his answers but truth, it was more of same old, same old.
This is not a criticism. If Trump doesn’t defend himself at every opportunity he would end up being Richard Nixon, perhaps George Dubya.

BROTHER HUGS COP WHO KILLED HIS BROTHER IN HIS OWN APARTMENT
Her name is Guyger and she allegedly entered an apartment in her complex that she thought was her own. It was not her own but belonged to a fellow who, at the time, was sitting on his own couch eating ice cream.
The events that followed were confusing as I read but she is a cop, had her weapon with her and once she thought Bothem Jean was invading HER apartment she pulled out her gun and killed him.
She was found guilty of murder, sentenced to ten years in jail, is eligible for parole after 5 years.
Today, as of this writing, Bothem’s brother gave a heartwarming court room narrative. He did not hate Guyger. In fact, he said he forgives her and asked approval to give her a hug. Which he did.
The guy wasn’t faking. What happened to Guyger, well I could give ten or twelve things she did that make no sense to me, but I saw the uniform cam taken when the 911 people reported to the apartment after Guyger’s call. Guyger was frantic, sobbing.
She didn’t run away. She didn’t try to deny. Once she realized she’d shot an innocent, she phoned the authorities.
There is no way she could just walk away with no penalty. First, we’d have every criminal angry at someone pretending they’d inadvertently entered the wrong apartment and boom, shot their enemy in “self-defense.
Bothem’s brother will go to heaven. Guyger really did not mean to kill the guy. She will pay a price.
Bothem’s brother is a better person than me but may I learn a leason.

SHORT UPDATE ON UKRAINE DIPLOMAT VOLKER’S TESTIMONY BEFORE THE HOUSE
Per Jim Jordan on a Fox interview I watched on the day of this writing, Volker testified to nothing that would verify the Democrats’ assertion that President Trump pushed Ukraine wrongfully to investigate his presidential rival, Joe Biden.
This is not turning out well for the opposition party.

WHITE HOUSE TO SEND PELOSI NOTICE THAT IT WILL IGNORE DEMANDS UNLESS HOUSE HOLDS FULL VOTE
This story has been on the news all day. It’s a good idea, with the reasoning being that those Representatives who want to impeach Trump should put their vote on the line.
From what I’ve heard, previous impeachments, to include Nixon and Clinton, as a precedent, included the motion to impeach with recorded votes before the investigation began.
So why should these Democrats, many who are in danger of being thrown out in districts where Trump won in 2016, have to have more than air between their legs and take a stand?
The Speaker of the House, for example, says that all cars must be banned from the road for all night time hours. There is no need to gather votes, just say it and boom, it becomes reality.
So the White House will not provide any requested documentation, so this letter will say, the House will have to provide more than Nancy Pelosi’s announcement that the House will “discuss” impeachment.
Personally I don’t blame Trump one little bit. All you can do is fight back and keep fighting.
We should, so I proclaim without taking any votes, have those demanding such big changes in our government vote that we may know who is on our side.

The White House is planning to send Speaker Nancy Pelosi a letter as soon as Friday arguing that President Trump and his team can ignore lawmakers' demands until she holds a full House vote formally approving an impeachment inquiry, 2 sources familiar with the letter tell Axios.
Why it matters:
By putting in writing the case that Trump and his supporters have been making verbally for days, the White House is preparing for a court fight and arguing to the public that its resistance to Congress' requests is justified.
Trump wants to force House Democrats in vulnerable races to be on the record if they favor pursuing impeachment, these sources tell us.
