Over the last few days, former Vice President Biden has made the rounds promoting his new book with talk show hosts who pretend to have read his new book. During these breezy little chats, Biden has teased that he hasn’t ruled out running in 2020. On behalf of all left-leaning people who also care deeply about our current national conversation about harassment and consent: Please, Joe. Please. Not now. Now is extremely not the time.

While Joe Biden has been jokingly depicted as a kooky uncle or Obama’s wacky sidekick or Leslie Knope’s grin-flashing celebrity crush, he’s also got a troubling history of acting weird in public around women who don’t seem entirely on board. This isn’t just based on whispers or rumors; there are so many photos and clips of Biden looming over, or massaging, or gently nuzzling, or whispering to, or kissing women and girls who don’t seem all that into it. For awhile, a few years ago, it was a bit of a meme. Gawker wrote on it. So did The Washington Post. And there are plenty of YouTube “Creepy Joe Biden” compilations, in case you want to spend the next hour or so feeling vicariously mortified.

Videos of Joe Biden inappropriately touching the young daughters of senators are toxic and got all sorts of attention on social media a couple years ago, so much so that even liberal media outlets couldn't ignore it because they saw the videos and did NOT want him to run. They were simply terrified. So how could his campaign ever have been for real?

It would be fun to watch Joe struggle for words, slear his words and make Gaffes while Trump picks him apart.

But I think it’s more important to expose the corruption. THe way politicians have been sellig us out usimg family members and trusts and charitable foundations to receive the payoffs needs to come to light.

His campaign, and his entire term, haven’t been and are not expected to be real. He was the choice they made because they thought they could get him in using their tactics, then they would continue to tell him what to do, what to say, and where to go. He would be nothing but a windup toy with a broken spring.

Get ready, the real candidate is about to step into the spotlight. And she’s the one they actually think they can get in, delusional or not.

And the Ukraine dust-up hasn’t helped his image as Mr. Clean.

You may be a little late with this. He hasn’t been looked at as clean since he plagiarised a speech delivered by Neil Kinnock, the Labour leader, in 1987. He was an afterthought during the Obama years and was kept under wraps as much as possible. Never knew what he was going to say.
