No, the rifle in your hand, and your willingness to use it if push comes to shove, is “the last chance”.
I’ve lived a good life, because other people gave up THEIR chance to live a good life, in crappy places all over the world. Those people - kids, most of them - gave up their tomorrows so we could live TODAY.
That makes it incumbent upon us, here, now, THIS day, to stand up for what they did. They may not have seen it that way at the time when they marched off and boarded troopships to destinations hostile, but it is the truth ultimately.
In a day and age when the SAME IDEOLOGY that my father and uncles fought (in one form or another) is now trying to gain ascendency and ERASE us, our culture, our heritage, our traditions, and the very essence of one American PEOPLE and Nation, we have a huge bill to pay. A debt, really, to all of those American kids who died in places that most of us have never seen, some have never heard of, and left weeping mothers and fathers behind them, with nothing except a flag to remind them of the loved one lost.
That flag - OUR flag - is the only one that EVER meant “Help is on the Way” when folks saw it, all over the world.
We’re Americans; as a Nation, we were BORN with a clenched fist and a defiant Rebel Yell. Surrender - ESPECIALLY to the likes of the animals on the Left - is not an option.
I meant, before the SHTF.

Dead, unborn American citizens have been wondering this for over 40 years now.
I doubt that over 60,000,000 unwanted pieces of tissue would have really cared if they had been born under a Socialist system or not.
Ya gotta have the 'Life' part first, before you can have the Liberty to pursue Happiness.
