President Trump continued to escalate his scorched-earth campaign against a whistleblower who accused him of pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political rivals, even as new evidence emerged Monday that he and his administration are urging other governments to provide assistance to a related Justice Department inquiry that has been pushed by the president.
Trump said he was trying to “find out about” the whistleblower Monday, the latest move in an increasingly frenetic counterassault targeting the anonymous intelligence officer and top Democrats leading the impeachment inquiry. The comments came as his allies struggled to coalesce around a clear strategy to respond to a fast-moving and quickly mounting threat to his presidency.

I think it is time for Trump to give this CIA clown a nickname so he isn’t just called “Whistleblower”. I suggest “Spook”.
Despite being a long time harmless spy novel name, spook also has a highly pejorative connotation for persons of color.
McConnell is helping Trump by scheduling the trial right away. That means Trump will have broad subpoena powers and get to introduce witnesses.
President Trump Trump needs to kick the CIA and the FBI out of the White House and replace them with military intelligence. Obviously the CIA and the FBI are incapable of cleaning up their own ranks.
If I were McConnell, I would take it up right away. I would allow for the President to file a summary judgement motion, allow both sides to file their briefs and have oral argument. Then, I’d promptly vote to grant the motion.
It would then have been taken up and disposed of.

Is Mitch really in a position to criticize or even question the Bidens taking money from foreign sources? Are any of the GOP Senators in a position to do so? I have to assume they’re not, because they aren’t doing so.
It would be nice if they had his back. Few, if any, do.

Does anybody know who this hornblower is? Trump always turns out to be right about things. There’s a reason why he’s tearing this guy or gal apart. It will become apparent when they’re exposed.

The PC sensitivity in the country is now into such over the top hysteria that we cannot say anything.
As a Catholic radio person said (I am Jewish, by the way but quite open minded for information from all sources): If he sat down to talk with a person he would have to read their mind or know all the possible PC violations before he said a word, or would be called racist,homophobic,narrow minded, etc.. so mind reading is a requirement. How can anyone live like that?
On the Fox sports baseball presentation last week they had a crew member joining a group dancing an Irish dance to live music and the announcer said “Are you really dancing that Irish..........jig....Craig?” Craig was black.
He must have paused 4-5 seconds before thinking of his career in danger and saying “jig” for the actual historical dance called the jig. I never heard if they threatened to fire him. As Jimmy the Greek and more. Some “free speech.”
IF Comey, Brennan and Clapper were arrested and sentenced as they should have been, NONE of this BS would be happening right now. They are all working for Odongo’s shadow govt. Brennan is likely “the biggest toad in the puddle” on this. He should not be breathing God’s clean air right now.
