ashington (CNN)The intelligence community inspector general is forcefully pushing back against assertions made by President Donald Trump and several Republican lawmakers about the whistleblower complaint that has rocked Washington in recent weeks.
In a rare statement released Monday, the inspector general addressed a false claim pushed by Trump and some of his allies on Capitol Hill, including House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy of California and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, that the whistleblower lacked firsthand knowledge of the conduct outlined in the complaint and therefore the allegations were based on "hearsay." But the statement from the inspector general made clear that the whistleblower was not simply communicating secondhand knowledge.

“The whistleblower stated on the form that he or she possessed both first-hand and other information,” the statement read. “The ICIG reviewed the information provided as well as other information gathered and determined that the complaint was both urgent and that it appeared credible. “
the question then would be what part of statement is first hand knowledge......their name?

He had first hand knowledge of a second hand source.
If they are CIA, FBI, DOJ or State dept employees, they are co-conspirators in the democrat/deep state coup attempt. In fact, if they are gov’t employees or contractors of any dept they are co-conspirators. Spying on the president and or leaking his private conversations is illegal and makes them co-conspirators to treason.
I read the complaint and saw no first-hand information.
If this is true then the whistleblower is incompetent because they got all the facts wrong. An incompetent whistleblower that gets basic facts wrong should be disregarded.

I read numerous docs on line and it’s clear to me this ICIG is the new Rosenstein.
He was planted, or they have something like they convinced Sessions they had something on him.
Look no further than this ICIG, and he has more complaints (claims) in the pipelin
DoJ IG has taken 3.5 years to do a report. Then he removes the names of the Guilty.
This IG brings this in 30 days!
This ICIG is the mechanism they are going to use (or attempt) to Get Trump again and again.
The Next Move will be to charge Trump or Guiliani or Don Jr. with revealing the name of a CIA agent.
