She also claimed to be a college graduate. In March 2001, she was granted a green card in the elite EB-1 program, which was designed for renowned academic researchers, multinational business executives or those in other fields, such as Olympic athletes and Oscar-winning actors, who demonstrated “sustained national and international acclaim.”

And there you have it - if you go through the system legally and obtain a legal green card you’re evil.
Again you have more liberties and rights if you’re an illegal an act outside of the law than if you’re an actual citizen, legal immigrant.
They just keep making stuff up.
So where are they going with this? They want to say Melania is an illegal alien? But the liberals love illegals. Even if for sake of argument they want to say something is wrong with how she got her American citizenship, they oppose deporting people and splitting up families. So why bring it up at all, based on their opposition to deporting anyone for any reason?
It doesn’t say anything about her paying Mexican “coyotes” thousands or dollars to sneak her into America or rent somebody’s toddler to build an instant family to BS the U.S. government with. This is bull****. A non-starter.
The VISA was available to "talented" individuals in every field including the arts.
I’m very familiar with that visa program as my company is sponsoring someone for it and I have a friend who recently received it. They are very common for fashion industry and top models. Just the list of qualifications in the first paragraph of this article suggest a very strong case for this visa and maybe even a slam dunk, in my experience.

Maybe she should not have qualified for that particular visa, but I don’t know why she wouldn’t have qualified for a visa with less-extraordinary qualifications. My life (church, work) has me up to my neck in immigrants on a daily basis. I know permanent residents whose qualifications or qualities are certainly no greater than hers. In fact, I wonder how the hell some of them qualified at all.
The failure will be epic and the blow back is going to hurt.

BTW, Melania is far more qualified for legit refugee status than Omar ever was and to the best of my knowledge, Melania has supported herself and never spent a day on welfare
