Maybe the Ukrainian spokesmen are like Rod Rosenstein... playing it both ways, trying to see which way the wind is blowing for the 2020 election. From a purely selfish point of view, it wouldn’t do to diss Biden if he’s going to be the next President.
I’m not talking ethics here; just short term, unprincipled self-interest. And the Ukraine is famously corrupt.
Sure, if “by their fruits ye shall know them,” Joe and Hunter are obviously corrupt. A know-nothing coke-head gets a very high paying position in businesses he knows nothing about (Gas in the Ukraine, tech investments in China), coincidentally where his father has prominent political visibility. But, from the viewpoint of the bribing countries, you have to roll with the times. Like, say, Rod Rosenstein. (That opportunistic scumbag).
Good that Ukraine came out and denied the crazy Dem accusations about Trump.
The media will resist the TRUTH which is Ukraine started the investigation and turned information over to the US.

the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump's campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country's president to help.In written answers to questions, Ambassador Valeriy Chaly's office says DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa sought information from the Ukrainian government on Paul Manafort's dealings inside the country in hopes of forcing the issue before Congress.
Chalupa later tried to arrange for Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to comment on Manafort's Russian ties on a U.S. visit during the 2016 campaign, the ambassador said.
Chaly says that, at the time of the contacts in 2016, the embassy knew Chalupa primarily as a Ukrainian American activist and learned only later of her ties to the DNC.

Biden has had so many glaring weaknesses for so long. I can understand that he could hold a seat as a Senator. I was utterly baffled as Obama selected him for VP. But I never thought he would have a shot at the Presidency.
But if you look at the polite treatment he got in the VP debate in 2012 from Paul Ryan, you see the traditional Republican response. Which is to say, lay down and lose.
Trump is a different animal and I knew he would take out Biden, just not sure how he would do it.
In an interview with media outlet Hromadske, Prystaiko said Ukraine was an independent state and would not take sides in U.S. politics even if “in theory” the country was in a position to do so.
Translation: We are not going to help the Trump admin investigate Biden/Jr. and Obama admin era corruption.

Imagine for a minute if instead of Hunter Biden getting a million dollar gig with a company in a foreign country where he knew NOTHING about the country or the business he was working for, it was Don Trump, Jr. or Eric Trump.
