Goose eggs: No climate doomsday warning has come true (only 11.36 years left)

On the eve of a “global climate strike,” a new report revealed that none of the global warming doomsday predictions of the past 50 years have come true.

“Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today,” said the analysis from the Competitive Enterprise Institute shared with Secrets.

“None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true,” it added.

The report cites 30 predictions made by experts, government scientists, and global leaders, including former Vice President Al Gore and Britain’s Prince Charles.

Two funny ones in an article years ago.

A top computer expert who predicted there was no need for more than a handful of big computers and no more computers of any size would be built.

And the electric power guy who said such things as nuclear and solar power and increased efficiency would mean power will be so cheap soon that it would cost too much to bother with meters to measure it and bill for it than the power they measure.

And from a documentary with Bill Moyers narrating: As the year 1900 is passed experts have measured and predicted that big cities like New York and Boston will have so many horses producing so many more millions of gallons of urine and tons of feces to dispose of, the streets will not be passable as additional millions of horse in 1900-1950 till be needed for transportation.

Good thing Henry Ford didn’t say “We are doomed. I have no idea what to do.”

This is exactly why climate alarmists refuse to debate. Nearly all of the prominent ones have gone out on a forecasting limb and had it sawed off behind them.

All it would take to devastate them in any debate is quote their own words and point out that it didn’t happen. Debate over.

So they all chatter about a supposed 97% consensus while refusing to debate, claiming the matter is “settled science.” It’s settled all right; they’re wrong, and have been wrong for decades now.
