Demonizing a political party over its ancient Southern roots is both simplistic and counter productive.
There is plenty to hate about the Democrat party of today and it has zero to do with slavery or segregation.
The founders, many of which were Southern Democrats, inherited the evils of slavery and segregation from pre-revolutionary British colonies. The fact that it took a hundred years and a tragic war to rid themselves of slavery has little to do with party affiliation.
Socialist Democrats of today are entirely different - they seek to destroy the constitutional checks and balances that limit government - they are the opposite of the Jeffersonian Democrats that founded the Republic. Todays Democrats have more in common with the Federalists, which the original Democrats opposed.
The rainbow bowtie kinda gives it away....the hideous women next to him is a perfect addition to the sex murderer photo-op.
I predict by 1700 tomorrow that the “main-SLIME media” will blame this on President Trump.
