Russia offers Saudi Missile Defenses After Attack
Times of Israel ^ | 9/16/2019 | AFP

Putin offers to sell Saudi Arabia its missile defense systems in the wake of the attack on its oil facilities.

“We are ready to help Saudi Arabia so that she can protect her territory,” he says.

“She can do so in the same way that Iran has already done in buying the S-300 Russian missile system and the same way that Turkey has already done in buying the S-400 Russian missile system,” Putin adds at a press conference in Ankara, alongside the Turkish and Iranian leaders.

The US has blamed Iran for the attack on the Saudi oil facilities.

Say, what?

And he said this being flanked by Iran's and Turkey's leaders?

Did Iran offer a cheaper solution - i.e. desist firing the missiles?

They’re using Putin’s tactic of blaming “rebels”. I’d hate to think this was just Putin using a protection racket to sell his missile system.

I think the Russians may have realized that they’ve got a tiger by the tail. Cozying up to Iran was supposed to send a message to the US, but now they’ve gotten so close that Iran can rip out their throat if they let go of the tail.

Russia REALLY wants a test bed of their S-400 against our F-35.

My first thought ... Is Putin suggesting that he knows the U.S. detected the missiles, but failed to stop them?

Find, fix and take out the Iranian leadership.

I am sure they are huddled up and meeting about what to do next, at this time. The perfect time.

Hit them with penetrator munitions and FAEs.

Send the B-2’s. They would never expect such a bold move.
Just do it

I think they are just trying to make a buck (ruble). Its pretty brazen of them after supporting Iran through arms sales and nuclear tech.

= = = = = = = = =

They are just following Joseph Hellers lead....

Arm and support BOTH sides, then when it is ‘over’ you can take the high ground and say you supported the winner.

Putin would love to inject an electronic mole into our defense network, this could be a way to do it ...

India signs S-400 deal with Russia sidestepping US opposition

New Delhi signs $5bn deal to buy one of the most advanced missile defence systems amid looming threat of US sanctions.

Putin’s an equal opportunity weapons salesman.

Russia REALLY wants a test bed of their S-400 against our F-35.

Plus hundreds of million of $’s in sales to both sides.

“Russia REALLY wants a test bed of their S-400 against our F-35.”

Out 35s and 22s, and Israels 35s routinely test against eh S-300 and 400 in Syria.

He already knows he can’t touch them.

This is a political move to drive a wedge between the gulf States and the US.

”Russia REALLY wants a test bed of their S-400 against our F-35.”

Bingo! That’s exactly what I suspect as well, and I think that’s also the reason we refused to sell F-35s to Turkey if they bought the S-400.

“Is Putin suggesting that he knows the U.S. detected the missiles, but failed to stop them?”

Maybe.

I’m not sure US Air batteries are geared toward low-level and slow moving targets. Besides, the Saudi’s were driving them...not US forces.

The batteries were reportedly hit by drones.

What people are making Iran to be now (tiger) is horribly reminiscent of what they and I!! made Iraq to be to justify killing more American men in the middle east.

#### em all.

We have our own oil.

Let them kill each other.

So many NEVER EVER learn here
