A Southwestern High School teacher says her car was stolen from the school parking lot by a student and is accusing the school district and police of not doing anything.
Special Education teacher Mary Toth spoke exclusively to Fox 66/NBC 25 News.
Toth says on August 13th the student was supposed to be helping her clean her classroom. She says she left her purse in the classroom when she stepped out. She says when she returned, she later discovered that money and keys were stolen from her purse.
She says the student then stole her 2015 Chevy Malibu from the back parking lot. She says minutes after her car was stolen, she looked at surveillance video with four other administrators and they all identified the student. But nearly one month later, her car has yet to be returned and she says charges have not been filed. She says days after this happened the student was also back in school.

The whole story is kind of hinky. I wonder if the teacher was getting it on with the student?
Who is dumber the cops or administrators? Must be the water in Flint.

Haven’t read the article yet, so just guessing. More likely that the student is a protected minority and the teacher either isn’t or doesn’t have as high a protected minority score.

First thought was, is he a black student, and is she a white teacher? Black privilege.
Ten bucks says she voted for that, albeit indirectly. Can’t be certain in these things, but it’s reasonable to assume she is a liberal and has supported liberal candidates for many years. Does she deserve this? Maybe she’ll think about what “liberal” policies actually do, versus what sounds good. Too bad so sad. Maybe someday (soon) the school systems will be reorganized and the rot and nonsense cleared away.

In this day and age, who knows? But it’d be easy for the student to make some claim to that effect as accusations can go a long way. Maybe he could say she gave him the keys and purse and told him to go out and buy some condoms.
It’s clear that the Chief of Police, the Mayor and the School Superintendent are more interested in protecting the Yute student than they are in protecting the victimized teacher.

It can happen as it happened to me back in 2004. I discovered my purse was taken from under my desk in a high School in Raleigh North Carolina. So I went to check on my car, it wasn’t there. The SRO was able to determine the thief through the high school cameras. It was a 15 year old and when he went to court they slap him on the wrist and said he would make restitution which he never did of course so I lost my purse but got my car back.
I wonder if the teacher was getting it on with the student?

Why is the school district ignoring and not supporting their employee? I don’t like dealing the Race Card carelessly, but that would be my first suspicion. Is the teacher White, and is the thieving student black, along with most of the School Board? It does not matter, but that’s become a familiar dynamic these days.
If what she says is true, she should leave that school district, since they don’t offer her any apparent support after getting her care stolen. Then to invite the guilty student back to school as though nothing’s wrong?
Bad, however you see it. Some kind of groupthink agreement is in force.

It just seemed weird to me. Maybe she is so fearful of violence she is not pressing the issue? (and probably afraid to arm herself for defense)
“I broke out in hives the other day when I found out the student was in the building. I can’t sleep at night. I’m up all night, worried about how all of this is going to play out and where my car is and how safe I am because he has my address with my registration,” Toth says.
She filed a police report when it happened but says the Flint Police Department is not giving her updates on the investigation. She says she’s driving a rental and the student is back in school.”
Again, the story is weird. Maybe the student is protected species and she cannot get anyone to follow up. I dunno, but there have been enough teacher/student hookups to make me wonder.
Nothing screams, ‘Liberal Democrat Teacher’ louder than a Chevy Malibu. ;)
