“his team has “reviewed over one million records and conducted over 100 interviews” Horowitz said in the letter.”

Uh-oh a dead giveaway. They always start with this and finish with..........
“We have found that there were some mistakes made but none were intentional or did they rise to criminal intent. Therefore this investigation is closed and we will not be taking any questions.”

We will now begin the process of excusing the criminal and seditious behavior of high-ranking gov’t officials and telling you that you can take it or leave it.

Please pass the whitewash...

So the investigation is complete, and more and more insiders will be finding out the results every day. Leaks and spin should intensify.

Some folks have said that the Attorney General saw the results two weeks ago - before the decision to charge McCabe.

ABC reported:

“”I anticipate that we will see some very stark revelations of manipulation of the whole system for political purposes,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said in a Fox News interview earlier this month. “When you see that happen, that’s when I think you’re going to see references or referrals for indictments, and I think you are going to see some indictments.””

So how long will it take to get through the review and comment process? Will it be in October or November?

NB: The IG is an in-house operation. Self-inspection guarantees that the institution will be protected at all costs. Expect a report long on policy and process recommendations and short on criminal referrals. Delay, delay, delay. Justice delayed is justice denied.

“We have now begun the process of finalizing our report by providing a draft of our factual findings to the Department and the FBI for classification determination and marking...”

Great! Then we can begin the process of selecting candidates for a task force to vet nominees for a blue ribbon panel to evaluate the possibility of drafting a proposal to compose a strongly worded letter suggesting a committee be formed to oversee a possible non-binding resolution for consideration by a bipartisan, bicameral select working group to be determined in the indeterminate future.

I think Sara might be exaggerating here. According to The Hill, the OIG report will deal with the FBI’s investigation in securing a warrant to investigate Carter Page. It might be narrower than what Carter is implying:

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Right, Horowitz is the guy that just couldn’t find any bias toward Trump. By golly he looked real hard but just couldn’t find any.

,
At some point, the FBi has edit requests.

And the FBi will remove the names (this is new, a precedent by Christopher Wray).

They will spar over terms used, and make the report less specific.

We also know the OIG of the Intel Community was canned, according to him, because he didn’t sign on the Dem Agenda, and Feinstein orchestrated his ouster.

The point is the OIG is not anywhere close to being independent.

Remember, Rosenstein ensured every Investigation went to OIG Horowitz. He was eager to send it to Horowitz, seen as controllable HR.

It’s about the FIB. Why would they be entitled to redact it’s contents? That is absurd.
