I don’t think that Drudge has been involved in the day-to-day operations of his site for a decade or more .... its brought him financial success, cache, and a page in the annals of the history of the media (remember how revolutionary he was in the late 1990s) ...

... his time is over in that sense (’social media’ have now continued the re-write of ‘media’) and Drudge is now, I suspect, spending more time enjoying life. That his site is still so popular shows just how big it once was ... now its gone much more ‘mainstream’ ...

...remember O’Sullivan’s law ... https://www.conservapedia.com/O%E2%80%99Sullivan%E2%80%99s_First_Law

Oh, I’ve long since realized that he isn’t up at 3 AM, updating his page. It just makes me wonder how much day-to-day oversight he really gives it, aside from the revenue and business side of it. I have no idea who his operational web minions are nowadays, and what sort of guidance he provides insofar as content. One thing is for sure, he has drifted leftward and seems to dip his toes into clickbait journalism. It’s a shame - he used to be a reliable bulwark against all the Tokyo Rose propaganda the alphabet networks and dead tree newspapers used to spew out 24/7.
