This is so sad! After 31 years together, I hope theyve done everything possible to get counseling and do everything humanly possible to stay married, be happily married.
We should all pray for them. Divorce is a terrible, terrible thing.

Hard to say what is going on in the privacy of their lives. Pray.
To: RooRoobird20
It is indeed a terrible thing. Praying they will reconcile.

I remember that thread about the plane’s tail number!

Well the borderline schadenfreude glee exhibited by some of the comments here is rather...catty. As I pointed out when Mrs. Palin ran for Vice President, no woman an 8 or above in looks, attacked her personally.
From either side of the aisle.

Irreconcilable differences. The real story is theirs to know and tell and ours to wonder about. This divorce has probably been a long time coming and although it affects the whole family, I am sure the Palin's are doing what they can to minimize the aftermath for their family. Sad in any case.

Sarah endorsed McCain for his 2010 reelection but then got on board with Trump early in 2016, a move that must have made the irate McCain even more irate.

Looks are part of it for sure, but there are plenty of non-super models who love Sarah...On the left, there were even a few genuine feminists who at least praised Palins success, if not her views.
The VISCERAL hatred from women (mostly on the left) was brought on more by baby Trig than anything else...a lot of women sadly carry the guilt of abortion, and particularly of elective ones if they discover theyre carrying a child with a disability.

“Score one for the stress on the marriage by the Left.”
Unfortunately I think the source of the stress are her messed up children.

I realize that not everybody here followed Palins career prior to her veep nomination, but some of us did and plus there is literature by Alaskans and others out there who profiled the early rise of Palin and Todds presence loomed large even in Governor Palins political dealings while in office. Hes no dummy. And your comments are proof that Tina Fey rather than reality has shaped the perspectives of people even sympathetic to them. Thats the power of the media in setting the narrative. And to add: it's worth noting that to achieve the governorship of Alaska, Sarah Palin took down Frank Murkowski, RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski's father. And Palin DID NOT have the support of her state's GOP. And her husband was integral in guiding her through a lot of major moves and decisions she made on the way up.

What kind of horrible comment is this? Have you ever met the man? Do you know a thing about him? How do you know Mrs Palin wasnt the problem in the marriage?
To: spacejunkie2001

Palin always struck me as odd. Her record is not spotless as many here repeat.
