Even “Superman” actor Dean Cain himself put in his two cents. He said:
“They found the time to label the NRA, one of the oldest civil rights organizations, a domestic terror organization. So, terrorism is defined as the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. Literally the exact opposite of the NRA.”
The association is now calling on all members to tweet their reactions to the move using the hashtag: #IAmTheNRA.

But it is for this part:

The "incite gun owners to acts of violence" would be an actual crime and since it is untrue it becomes actionable.

There absolutely needs to be a lawsuit. If there isn’t the NRA may as well close its doors because they will be called terrorist until it sticks.
It must be great that San Francisco has solved all its other problems that they can focus on attacking the right to freedom of association.
There is (or was) a lawsuit in Los Angeles. The city council voted that any city contractor must disclose affiliation to the NRA. They got slapped with a 1A civil rights violation suit.
This is why we should trust the government with red flag laws.
