There is a world of difference between a shooting around public housing in some urban neighborhood and random shooting at dozens and sometimes hundreds of people going about their daily business. Because people like you don't get shot at some public housing in Chicago, but do get shot and killed at a concert in Las Vegas, or working at a desk in Virginia Beach or watching a movie in a suburban movie theater or just innocently driving down a road in Odessa.
I assume you know that. I assume you know that a Chicago urban killing does not affect people the same way a mass killing affects people who like them are just going about their day bothering no one.
Do you get it now?
