It was an attempt to find something that would have been classified decades ago, but everybody knew about now. Probably should have gone with the invention of gunpowder. Also probably should have checked the spelling.
Don’t tell CNN about space.com and other aerial/space photo sites. It might make them actually tell the truth for the first time in years (about where the photo came from).

99% chance that is an aerial photo taken by the Iranians. The labels were probably added by low level analysts. Trump can declassify anything he wants, but he does not — certainly not in this case.

If a dumpster company can instantly call up a satellite image of my property and determine the distance between tree branches is only 9 ft. and not the required 12 ft., then the resolution in the Iran photo is NOT at the "classified" level.

Had a similar situation when contacting a roofing company for an estimate. They don’t have to go up on the roof and measure everything. They just get their measurements from satellite telemetry. Amazing.

The image apparently came from a prev-gen spy satellite with an estimated resolution of 10 cm per pixel. The most recent NROL launch put a satellite with improved capabilities (ahem) into orbit, just within the past 12 months. Oh, and BTW, NeverTrumpers and other Democrats and Democrats-in-all-but-name suck ****.
A Tweet has shown us the capabilities or the current generation of US spy satellites. By analyzing the images shared the location of the satellite was determined and traced to USA-224 AKA NROL-49 - an image intelligence satellite that is derived from a design in the 1970's and also shares some design charactersitics with the Hubble Space Telescope.
