A couple of years ago SCOTUS struck down,by a 9-0 vote,a law passed by the Massachusetts legislature and upheld by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (the state's highest court) that severely, and blatantly, violated our 2nd Amendment rights.

That vote gives me hope that SCOTUS takes individual rights regarding firearms seriously.

Politicized courts for me, but NOT for thee.

If it weren’t for left-politicized courts over-ruling or twisting popular votes and constitutional laws, the left would be the losers they truly are.

“Obstruction also applies to overt coercion of court or government officials via the means of threats or actual physical harm, and also applying to deliberate sedition against a court official to undermine the appearance of legitimate authority.”

They threatened them last week too. Yes, trust these guys with red flag laws.
Their last batch of rulings were centrist at best.
Many Freepers have suggested letting trump sign red flag rules, then trust the sc to uphold the Constitution.
I keep wondering when they last upheld it. By the nu.bers, their rulings has been against it.
They are owned.

Perhaps Trump can beat them to the punch, and then watch as all these tools who are calling for this “threat” come out all cloaked in outrage and the Constitution over how horrible this expansion would be for the country and end to democracy..... like the epic flip flops on immigration, crime.... that the left has done over the past decades. As always demonrat=socialist=progressive=leftist=liberal=hater=liar=hypocrite

Senators Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Richard Durbin of Illinois and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York have filed an amicus curiae brief

Four despicable anti-American communists.

More than just brazenness here. This is a direct threat aimed at the court. Something that has never really been done before. Lincoln contemplated arresting CJ Roger B. Taney for attempting to obstruct the federal waiver of habeus corpus. He was hesitant and Salmon Chase and others convinced him of the evil consequences of such an act. These assclowns are really juggling lit fusees in the powder magazine with this sort of mugging threat just like protection racketeer's.

The obvious attempts at power grabs by the Rats, showing that they have an insatiable lust for power makes me especially leery of them attaining power on any level. Their utter contempt for the rule of law on issues like border enforcement, the Kavanaugh confirmation and the Russian collusion hoax against Trump should be the canary in the coal mine sign for everybody. And that doesn’t even count what they have done to education on all levels, co-opting the media as their propaganda arm and the vast regulatory push for control of the masses under Obama. Democrats have shown themselves to be woefully untrustworthy and unfit to command the reins of power.

The usual Progressive suspects...Durbin, Blumenthal, Hirono, & Gillibrand; do these elected ever protect our Constitution like the swore they would?
