The State of Greenland would add two Republicans to the Senate and three Electoral College votes for President Trump.

It will be a better deal if they throw in Denmark too.

Let’s trade Puerto Rico for Greenland. We can also offload Hawaii while we are at it. We already have Guam, the Mariana Islands, America Samoa and a whole bunch of coral atolls. No need for Hawaii.

Statehood for Greenland? Maybe if it becomes deep-deep RED.

Statehood for Puerto Schmerco? No, make it a county of FL maybe, NAH! Instead, sell it to Soros in Cayman Island or even better make Mexico take it in exchange for Baja and we might cancel their payments for the Wall after we deport the MS-13 population there.

Statehood for DC? Oh hell no ...

Denmark could use the cash in order to support their immigrants in the custom that they are demanding.

It’s hurting Denmark very badly because they're losing almost $700 million a year carrying it," he said.

That's $700 million of a budget of $170 billion, which is 4/10ths of 1 percent of the total budget. I wouldn't say it's hurting Denmark at all much less hurting them very badly.

“Trump likely wants to rename it Whiteland.”

It is really not Green and, Nigeria is already taken. So throw out the politically correct idea.

Trump will make Denmark an offer they can’t refuse...

Which would be what?

I’d offer them the same thing Jefferson gave Napoleon for the Louisiana Purchase-—$4,000,000.

I say we implement according to the historic precedent of Texas statehood. The Houston/Crocket Plan: 200,000 patriotic Americans immigrate to the territory, and become Citizens. Under present Danish law, that takes about nine years. There are presently 76,000 people in Greenland. Then the new citizens, a solid majority, protest and agitate against Danish tyranny- for example, land ownership is prohibited. The new Danes, vote themselves OFF and OUT of Danish imperialism, and seek American Protection. President Eric Trump signs their petition for Statehood in Law.

I can see the negotiation now: Look your loosing $700M a year on this.

I doubt it. President Trump is an educated man. He'd use the proper "You're."

Trade it for the Virgin Islands.

Not a good idea.

We need the VI to send our sluts to be refurbished.

I’d rather suggest they just deed it over to the U.S. We fortify the island, guaranteeing to defend Denmark from attack. No cash changes hands but Denmark is permanently relieved of the $700LARGE, annual expense. Then we pull our troops out of Germany and tell the Krauts to defend THEMSELVES.
