CNN: Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said acting Director of US Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli suggesting that only immigrants who can "stand on their own two feet" are welcome in the United States is "completely un-American."

"I've been a refugee twice, once from the Nazis and we were in England, and then we came to the United States when the communists took over in Czechoslovakia. And I think that it is one of the most un-American things I've ever heard," Albright told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night on 'Anderson Cooper 360.'

"I think the Statue of Liberty is weeping," she added.

Madeline Albright, who says there is a special place in hell for women who don’t support other women? The one who in the election urged women to vote for Hillary just because Hillary is a woman, otherwise you will go to hell? That Madeline Albright is going to lecture us?

She is wrong.

My ancestors had to be disease free, have a certain amount of money with them, and show they had gainful employment set up. And have a place to stay, in our case, with relatives.

I think that it is one of the most un-American things I’ve ever heard,” Albright told...

Pretty damned funny coming from a self avowed Marxist that never met a communist she didn’t love.

This dumpy failure as Sec. of State is Exhibit A for President Trump’s insistence on merit as being the deciding factor for admission to our country. Had that been the practice, we wouldn’t have had to listen to this Leftist lecture us all these years.

Madame Albright, your ancestors came with the aid of a sponsor who was willing and able to serve as the bulwark against those new immigrants of EVER becoming a ward of the state.

If such a sponsorship were not made available, or failed in keeping the applicant from becoming a ward of the state, the person, or even the whole family, would have been sent back.

It is a darn poem written to raise money for the statue’s repairs, not an immigration policy, you dumbashes!

Settlers & immigrants came and worked. Didn’t expect to be supported by our citizens.

Nowadays many of these so called immigrants come to live off our assorted welfare benefits programs! Cut them off & deport them!

Mark Levin did a great job last night explaining that the poem refers to people coming here and making something of themselves - Lady LIBERTY - not government handouts.

Levin has had some great programming as of late. That human & sex trafficking expert was a fantastic dialogue!

... we were in England ...

Her "refugee" claim is total BS, not just because the family was exiled from Czech and took up in the UK.

Canada and Australia have similar policies. They don’t want dead weight. You must have a skill if you are working age, and you must have money if you are retired. Actually, I expect most countries have these requirements.

And the terrorist Yasser Arafat is crying because he misses you so much Maddie:

Albright...from 2000:

"No!" Arafat thundered and stormed out of one of the residence's ornate conference rooms. Albright, in another room, was alerted that Arafat was bolting for his limousine. She dropped her papers and raced out, finding the Palestinian leader 20 paces down the hallway, headed for the front door. Running awkwardly in heels, she did her best to catch up, shouting at him to stop. But the old man didn't even look back. By the time Albright reached the doorway, Arafat was climbing into his limo. "Close the gates! Close the gates!" Albright yelled to the Marine Guards at the compound's entrance, then skipped down the entrance steps to the driveway. "This is a humiliation," Arafat seethed in the backseat of his car, now blocked from leaving. Albright caught up to the vehicle, and Arafat rolled down his window. "Come on, let's go back inside," she said soothingly. "Let's sit down and settle this."
