Organizers started a Change.org petition calling on Walmart and the retailers president and CEO Doug McMillon to cease the sale of all firearms and ammunition, ban the public open and concealed carry of weapons on company property and in all stores, and cease WALPAC donations to NRA backed -A/A+ politicians.
IOW, non-employees of Walmart are demanding this and that, and will use astroturf made up of disgruntled former Walmart employees.

Just a note to the Wal-Mart “Workers”
Wal-Mart fired every single butcher when they tried to unionize.
I’m sure they won’t have a hard time firing a few snowflakes who are afraid to look at guns.

California, Portland and Brooklyn....not exactly bastions of conservative thought.
Fire their asses!

I’ve only been to Wal-Mart once. That was enough.

Why in the world did Walmart put e-commerce offices in California, Portland and Brooklyn? Politics aside, these are all very high cost places. Walmart was built on knowing better than that.
I assume these are cubicle rat jobs, not warehousing and shipping jobs. Walmart should base its operations in God's country, not behind enemy lines. Make hunting and fishing, including cleaning and cooking the critters, part of the job interview process.

Notice they are walking out at 3:00 pm. They probably work the 7:00 am to 3:00 pm shift. It takes real guts to leave work at quitting time.

E-Commerce.... Well some online orders may get delayed, etc
and some shipments to retail outlets might see a slow down.
