Kurt Schlichters back-handed assurance that President Trump probably wont be stupid enough to commit political suicide is a bit insulting.
Its like telling your lover you trust them when really you are doing the exact opposite of trusting: you are delivering an ultimatum.
In 2015, Donald Trump made the selfless decision to sacrifice his golden years in order to lead a conservative revolution. He could have easily afforded to spend the remainder of his life jetting between private islands and wonders of the world, living in luxury, peace, and tranquility, wanting for nothing, insulated from the woes of the world, and surrounded by adoring family and admiring friends. Instead, he submitted himself to the most vile and disgusting treatment from the festering Left that Hell could possibly spew forth. The man is nothing less than a saint if you ask me.
Rather than threatening to withhold our support if he doesnt keep on the right path - our energies would be much better spent just trying to keep up with our fearless leader.
Trying to guess what the President will be doing in six weeks, let alone six months, can be amazingly frustrating.
But I had dinner with a smug Republican county Chairman three days ago, who asked, in effect: So what are you going to do, vote Democrat? To which I replied, "Nope!"
And neither will I vote for ANY Republican on the ballot with Donald Trump. Nor will I ever vote for ANY Republican if any of the sellout Republicans on the ballot with Candidate Trump appear on the ballot with them in any future election. I don't even have to vote against him; all I have to do is not show up at the polls. How'd that work out for George Bush Senior's second term after he signed the assault rifle ban, and lost the votes of ten million gun owners? He didn't say much after that. And he wasn't NEARLY as smug after that.
By the way: the *Ten Million gun owners* numerical estimate comes from the grandson of Harry Truman's former Press Secretary, the one responsible for *The Buck Stops Here* and other apt political aphorisms.
President Harry S, Truman with his Press Secretary, *Good Time Charley* Ross.
Hes playing them.
They will ask for the moon, he has veto pen and the bully pulpit.
His next Supreme Court appointment will tell us. If he appoints Hardiman to the Court, he's with us [and may be counting on the Court to undo any unconstitutional acts]
If it's anyone else, he's a turncoat and liar.
A dead Socialist is better than a live sellout traitor.
Guess you haven't noticed the recent [last year and this] ban on exports of magazines with a capacity in excess of 32 rounds. Next step: a ban on their import. Third step: a ban on domestic manufacture. Fourth step: 32, 30, 25, 20, 10....
