I remember on a show like Forensic Files a doctor who killed his wife with succinylcholine. The drug is used to paralyze the skeletal muscles making intubation easier. Since it is used in that setting most cardiac arrest patients will be given the medicine in the ER. It is also rapidly metabolized in the body making post mortem detection difficult, and requires highly specialized tests to detect in the first place. It is basically an excellent murder weapon

People make it sound like hanging yourself (in prison) is the easiest thing to do. But can anyone do it right the _first_ time given a blanket and a cell with iron bars?
Most people on the outside will jump from a building/bridge, overdose on drugs, shoot themself with a gun, or drive their car into a lake. Hanging is in the mix, too, but anyone elderly...I don’t buy it.
It really can’t be _that_ easy, can it? (I’m not inclined to try it in any way other than as a thought problem.)
