I’ve been saying that about government schools a long time.
Although I do think we need to say “no” to GOPe, we are fighting a long term losing battle if we do not remove our children from public schools.

That is really our only choice. Lots of people on this site are grandparents - are you grandparents, and you know who you are, ready to tell your kids to keep their kids (your grand kids), out of public schools? Can they be convinced to give up on the Jones’s, maybe even live in a, dread the thought, an apartment - so they have enough money left to home school, or send their kids to private schools? It’s going to be tough...the free daycare and free ‘education’ is very, very, tempting...
If we do not have those types of father/son, or father/daughter talks, and if we don’t convince them...then it all ends, for us and for them.
