He neglected the 400 deaths in a 24 hour period due to overdoses. The left places a much higher value on deaths (based on their reaction) that advances their efforts to control us.

Major props for N. Tyson here. He’s about to get a good whiff of leftist hate. Why? For using his brain the way it was trained to do. To think about things rationally. But this is a big no-no on the left, even for scientists - leftism uber alles. Good. Good. Such undeserved hatred will only serve to drive science, and scientists, in the right direction: toward rationality (finally, one hopes), and away from irrational leftist dogma.
Jason: You’ve got a major piece of the problem with the Left. They like to exploit tragedies they can blame on the “RIGHT” (i.e. white supremacists) but ignore those caused by “Left terrorists” (Antifa, BLM, the shooter of Rep. Steve Scalise and other Republicans because they were Republicans).
Drug overdoses are more a direct result of the Left’s promotion of mind altering drugs from marijuana to Ectasy/Meth/Fentanyl, TCH, etc. and their usage as a “right”, then they are interested in stopping illegal drug trafficking into the US via the Red Chinese, Latin American communists esp. from Colombia, the Mexican Drug cartels and MS 13, or the use of illegal aliens as “mules” to smuggle drugs into the US under the guise of seeking asylum.
Portland, Seattle, LA, S.F., drug problems all occurred on the Dems “watch” and has for decades. I saw this in Seattle as far back as 1995.
The trash in the alleys and streets of Baltimore occurred on the Dems’ watch more than 50 years of political rule (Mayor, City Council, etc). And the shootings also are their responsibility, Rep. Jerkoff Cummings included.
Who got leftist judges to release mentally ill patients back onto the streets of society where they got almost no care? The Democrats.
Who wants to release “non-violent” offenders including drug kingpins, major narcotics distributors, and other criminals whose activities led others to do violence on their behalf (extortion, robberies, etc)? The Democrats.
Yes there are insane white people who commit acts of domestic terrorism or just acts of insanity. But were they “redflagged”? No.
The Dems want “redflagging” to be a hearsay way of taking weapons away from people without a fair hearing. In other words, “gun control” by whisper.
And I can’t find any evidence that in these recent horrible massacres in Gilroy, CA, Dayton, Oh and El Paso, THERE WAS AN ARMED CITIZEN AMONGST THE VICTIMS AND POTENTIAL VICTIMS.
It was the police who took out the shooters in each case, not a legally armed citizen because there were no legally armed citizens (that we know of) in any of those places to stop the shooter.
Gun-free zones in each of these places has led to a death and wounded total in the scores ranges. Why? Because they were unarmed and sitting ducks.
Let’s put a lot of the blame on those who made these victims sitting ducks and praise the quick reactions of the police (those racist killers in blue) that stopped each of one these mass murderers.
Just saying.

He is copacetic with the global warming / catastrophic climate change stuff (and that’s not science in any traditional sense), but he’s still got guns that he doesn’t want anyone else to get.
Obviously a confused soul. We might need to keep an eye on him. Do you think we should notify the authorities?
