Classis liberal bait-and-switch; take their money promising a concert, bank the money, give them a political screed instead after the money’s safely tucked away.
I had the same problem at a concert for Sammy Davis many moons ago at the Circle Star in San Carlos where he went on and on about race. After paying an arm and a leg for tickets, I finally had enough and hollered at him to sing. He couldn’t ignore me I was setting in the third row and he said he was singing.
