New Evidence in Houston No Knock Raid where Couple were Killed

U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- There have been startling developments in the investigation of the disastrous no-knock raid in Houston on 28 January 2019. A middle-aged couple was killed and four police wounded. In the light of contradictory police stories, the family of the couple who died hired an independent forensics firm to document the evidence at the home at 7815 Harding Street. The independent investigation took place after forensic data collection done by the local government authorities.

The independent investigators invited the Texas Rangers and the Harris County Institute for Forensic Science to attend the investigation. Both declined the invitation. The independent investigation findings were released on 14 May 2019. On 24 July 2019, family attorney Mike Doyle presented the findings in court.

Rhogena Nicholas, was a supporter of President Trump. Her husband, Dennis Tuttle was a Navy veteran. They had no criminal records. They lived in their home in Houston for 20 years and were married for the same 20 years.

A narcotics investigator, Officer Goines, obtained a warrant to raid their home. According to Police Chief Acevedo and abc13.com, on 13 February 2019, the warrant was based on lies.

“We know that a crime has been committed. It's a serious crime,” said Acevedo, who is referring to clear lies in the original warrant. “When we go into someone's home, which is the sanctity in someone's home, it has to be truthful. It has to be honest. It has to be absolutely factual. So, we know there's a crime that's been committed. There's a high probability

The Houston no knock raid on the Tuttles at 7815 Harding Street, looks worse and worse for the Houston PD.

Both Tuttles were killed in the raid. Now, it seems the crime scene investigation was very sloppy.

Rhogena Nicholas, was a supporter of President Trump...

Definitely not put in the article for no reason.

Are they saying her supporting of Trump contributed to the incident?

How big a supporter? Did some deranged leftist acquaintance decide to SWAT her?

I mean WHY would it be in the article??

It comes out of nowhere and there is no reason to mention it unless the writer thinks there was.

Or they are just trying to give that impression to make Trump supporters angry about the incident.

Either way, terrible tragedy.

If I kill someone in the mistaken impression that he was a threat, then I am in trouble.

In no knock raids, we need to apply absolute liability to the cops for the accuracy of their information. Perhaps that would reduce enthusiasm for SWAT raids.

President Trump’s supporters tend to be law abiding citizens.

Look at the top link, for the article.

The lower link seems to be a general Lin for the magazine.

That was pretty dam sharp that you picked that up as the reason for it being in there.

It makes sense.

“...Of the last 109 cases where Officer Goines swore out search warrants, all made claims of guns, but no guns were recorded as having been seized. ....But in every one of the more than 100 drug cases based off those warrants, there’s no record of Goines ever seizing a gun after executing a no-knock search warrant...”

Sounds like “Officer” Goines needs a little bit of Federal looking-into.

Maybe a Federal “No-Knock” 3am flashbang boogie woogie raid on HIS house would turn up some interesting items.

Two innocent people and their dog murdered, and what happens now...?

Absolutely spot-on.

I'd like to see a total ban on no-knock raids like this.
If the cops want to talk to someone, come in daylight with a warrant.

If they want to hit a known drug house, show up in full view and surround the house.
Give them plenty of time to flush their drugs down the toilet.
Then leave.

"Two shots fired 30 minutes after the gun battle"?

Well, isn't that something..

Back in the early seventies in Washington DC the police we’re looking for a stash of weapons in one of the downtown DC townhouses and they came crashing through the door of the wrong house. It just so happened that the owner of that house was an antique gun collector (which was legal) and it just so happened that the antique gun collector was cleaning one of his antique guns (because antique guns need special care).

The police came crashing in the room, quickly saw a gun and shot the man to death. Wrong house, antique gun collection, owner killed.

I never forgot that, and once in high school in a debate I used that same story when he even back in the early seventies they were talking about gun control.

It’s very easy to block the sewer so flushing don’t work. Very easy.

But on Friday, in the warrants executed by officers investigating the botched raid, it is clear that no confidential informant ever went to the house on 7815 Harding. In fact, all informants who worked with Goines told investigators they did not go in that home.
“There’s a lot of pissed off cops” HPD Chief Acevedo goes off about latest details in the officer-involved shooting

It’s just my opinion of course but here is where Barr is seriously screwing up by deciding to let the coup conspirators off. Sure, this very well could be just one big cluster f*** but when “these many slights and infractions” taken together begin to turn the people who actually pay taxes, who actually work to make things run against the government. They may think they can run things and it really doesn’t matter but they are killing the thing that made America run well and in so doing they are killing America herself.

As “our betters” have even more contempt for us in the years to come this crap ain’t going to get better.
