California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Tuesday signed a bill requiring President Trump to release his tax returns before he can appear on the state's 2020 primary ballot.
Under S.B. 27, called the "Presidential Tax Transparency and Accountability Act," any candidate running for president or governor of California will be required to file copies of the last five years of their tax returns to the California secretary of State.

A bill targeting one individual alone? That looks like a violation of the United States Constitution.
I’m sure this will be stopped in federal court.
I wonder if it’s ever occurred to Democrats that it might not be Trump that has something to hide on his tax returns.
Unconstitutional.........
and what good will this do? and how do you enforce this you clown?
There is a serious Constitutional issue here.
The Gov is wasting taxpayer time and money with this, but what does he care? TDS.
Does that mean Pelosi will supply hers?
It is phrased “any candidate”
The intention may be clear, but the phrasing works.
They say it for anyone running, so we should get to see all the Dems as well.
When will we get the California Governor Transparency Act?
Release YOUR taxes Newsom. Show us how much you paid Ruby Rippey to shut up.
Blatantly unconstitutional.
Can voters write in Donald Trump?
Read beyond the headline.
This apparently applies just the primary ballot and not the general election.

So another Republican can win the primary, but then Trump’s name is added to the general ballot as an afterthought? That’s just wrong. I hope this gets settled by the courts before the primary.
Unconstitutional.........

You mean that’s not In the Presidential Candidate Tax Return Disclosure Clause of the US Constitution? ;-)
Can voters write in Donald Trump?

No. California has designated that a “hate crime.”
That’s funny right there.
I guess there are no real problems in California if the governor has time to Richard around like this.
California taxpayers must really appreciate how he spends his time.
Maybe he could go to the libraries and hand out candy at the transvestite gatherings.
