When I think of the way the left loves control, punishment for unorthodoxy, and pushing their warped values on others, I think the Spanish Inquisition is the better comparison for them than the Puritans. The Puritans at least tried to live righteously; the Inquisitors just liked to attack others until they submitted.
There are rules.
She got her revolutions wrong I think. This is more like the Bolsheviks turning on the Mensheviks. Because leftism is built on always shifting values and goals, newer leftists eventually turn on their old heroes. That seems to be a historical constant, and at least we get to enjoy watching them eat their own.
Cocaine Mitch should be locked and loaded with an impeachment trial in the Senate, where they can go through the corrupt origins of the investigation before an audience of millions.
