Just his physical condition - the guy seems like he could hide his own Easter eggs.

In their basket sitting by the door.

What ever reputation he ever had is gone now.

He was promoted as this white knight going after the truth, when in reality he was used by the dims and their media all for fame and a big payday. With our money.

And he is too old to redeem himself.

No honor puke.

Even more amazing that his team of Democratic partisans produced a report that did not recommend indictment for obstruction of justice, because (God knows) they were looking for anything they could use. Strzok was right; there was no “there” there and they knew it from Day One.

Weissmann was clearly the power behind the throne who ran the show (along with Mueller’s chief of staff). Pure speculation on my part, but I think Weissmann was running a bit scared, after his “big” convictions against Enron and Arthur Andersen were overturned on appeal, with strong evidence of prosecutorial misconduct. If he cobbled together a flimsy case for indictment—and with Bill Barr at DOJ—his questionable/illegal tactics would become fair game, and he could easily find himself disbarred.

In hindsight, I believe Barr’s appointment as AG sealed the fate for Mueller and his band of Democrats. Barr made it clear he was going to look at everything, including the origins of the investigation, and he brought in a razor-sharp US attorney (John Durham) to lead the probe. At that point, the game was over, and Weissmann knew it.

Mueller’s “performance” yesterday (if you could call it that) was shocking. In the near future, I expect we’ll start getting insider accounts from FBI agents who worked on the investigation, i.e., the few without a vendetta to get Trump. It’s obvious Mueller was just a figurehead, but people will be stunned when we learn just how disengaged he was.

Go back a bit further. Mueller covered for corrupt FBI agents who let Whitey Bulger “escape” and remain on the lam for 16 years, while four innocent men rotted in prison. Two died behind bars; collectively, the men and their estates won a $100 million judgment from the government. And yet, Bobby Mueller stonewalled until (amazingly) a Clinton-appointed judge threatened him with a contempt citation.

Mueller may have been a honorable man as a Marine officer in Vietnam, but he’s been a certified swamp creature for well over 40 years, with a long trail of victims in his wake.

He has to be old and confused now, otherwise the truth would put him in jail. They demanded Mueller falsely accuse a President and thereby expose himself to false accusation charges. All because their hastily planned Deep Pee Operation needed lots of help. Lol. Always wondered, why two hookers ? Why not one. Why not three ? Why not four ? Why not none ?

This is from July of last year. Completely in control. Quick, sharp, articulate.

I am in full agreement with you that his performance yesterday was, in fact, largely a planned performance. The very real stress of knowing that the truth of the sham was being exposed added some convincing confusion.

THANK YOU! That proves it was nothing but a shameful performance. If he’d had a stroke or other serious medical situation during the past 11 months, it would have been headlines.

What a disgrace he’s been to the country.

You’re welcome. It’s not definitive proof that yesterday’s performance was entirely calculated theater, though. Cognitive deficits can occur for an array of reasons, and some can be rapid onset. So this year old video is instructive, but not really proof of anything.

It’s also important to recognize that cognitive issues can be episodic and situational—not always a permanent, progressive condition. It’s entirely possible that he does have some deficits brought on by the enormous stress of knowing the walls are closing in on the whole scam, the attendant sleep deprivation, etc. Add in tranquilizers and sleep meds which a dirty cop facing the witness stand might need, for example.

IMHO, Mueller’s testimony was a combination of factors: Strategic amplification of existing, temporary deficits.of

Please.

She wrote a pro-Trump book. Granted that she has been intemperately critical of Trump for not personally constructing a thousand miles of border wall with no funding, but she is hardly “never Trump.”

Comes to that, my instinct was that it was terrible that Trump entered the Republican Primary - because I knew that he had to be going along with the Democrat Establishment to have gotten along in NYC as well as he had. And I didn’t see any need to have a Democrat heading the ’16 Republican ticket. I had no reason to have confidence in his judicial picks.

But I realized that he was going to win the nomination, and he made precisely the right noises about judges - and he has delivered. That alone made him a transcendently better choice than Hillary - and, since there’s no guarantee at all that any other Republican would have beaten Hillary . . .

Ann has written some really good stuff in the past, but she has gone over the edge on Romney.

And perhaps that's the impression he was trying to create.

Did he really think going into this that the Republicans would have him on the run?

No, people like Mueller are cocky and confident, and Mueller lives in a world where people are telling him how wonderful he is.

So if he had all his faculties about him, it's unlikely that he'd be so frightened of the Republicans that he'd pretend to have dementia.

That's not to say that he couldn't have played up his mental problems to avoid answering questions, but I doubt that it was all an act.

If he knew he was dirty as hell and that Barr was on his trail, then yeah, I don’t think he would hesitate to pull a ‘too senile to know what his people were doing” act.
