– Shipping companies sailing through the Middle East Gulf are being urged to avoid having private armed security guards onboard as the risk of escalation in the region rises, industry associations say.

An armed society is a polite society. That applies everywhere. The best way to deter piracy is to kill a bunch of pirates.
Who writes these advisories? What force do they have (e.g., do insurance companies use them as an excuse to not pay?)
Are they crazy?
Perhaps we should urge banks to avoid having vaults as the risk of armed robbery rises, or maybe take airbags out of cars as the risk of traffic accidents increase.

Best proof yet that there are at least some of the incidents that were false flags. The big money and State actors don’t want their expensive operatives turned into floating corpses by private security personnel that aren’t players in the game of “lets you and him fight”.

Are they saying don’t defend yourself because the Iranians may not like it? They’re not supposed to like it. Not a good message. That means the Bullies or pirates have won.
