Just ask the guys standing outside the building wearing the dark jackets with the letters I-C-E on them which courtroom to go to. Good luck.

Exactly what happens when you give a weeks notice. Just great give your opposition every opportunity to mobilize and stop you. A cynic might be tempted to think it’s done on purpose.
First, the original effort was leaked in advance by whatshisname (since resigned). When it was disclosed, President Trump pivoted and gave congress two weeks to resolve the border crisis through legislation. President Trump did this so that down the road, he can use executive orders with the reason being that congress failed to act.
Pelosi didn't lift a finger for the entire period. So when the media makes a fuss, and I'm sure they'll end up with footage or photos (real or fake) of illegals getting deported, the President Trump will lay it at the feet of Pelosi and the democrats in the House.
The President got screwed by Ryan for two years, and now he has to play catch-up..and he's playing chess, not checkers.

Has anyone thouoght this thru? All these illegals, most of whom are devout Catholics and Evangelicals will be in church. They will be sitting beside us non-illegals. The natural inclination is to protect those sitting beside you in worship.

Almost 50 years ago, I recall "Advocates" and SJW Lawyers standing outside a Central Florida jail trying to get in to represent their "Clients". At the time there were about 50 illegals which were transported to the jail for interviews and processing after an enforcement sweep.
The ranking Deputy at the County Jail came out to tell the gathering of "Advocates" that all they had to do to gain entry was to provide the names of their clients...
To no one's surprise, the few names they came up with were not in the jail... I'm sure they may have been but since most were using false IDs, no names matched!
I'm certain that many have observed such BS over their careers!
Again, why haven’t we been doing this all along? What’s worse, whey haven’t we been raiding and putting some fines on businesses? Why just threaten to shut the border down and not do it? And wasn’t Mexico supposed to up its game or we were going to impose tariffs? Why just sign a ‘money magnate’ bill and at not really do anything else?
I speculate that most of these under court order, who have been in the US many years now as the court process is slow, they are Mexicans and Asians more than Central Americans.
They break our law coming in illegally then want to use our laws to sue us.

It’s not about money. Trump LIKES to tweet and keep his base in the loop. Unfortunately these tweets often tip off the enemy.
They’re going to do it anyway. May as well get it over with. Meanwhile, ICE is planning the eventual massive operations, marshaling resources, ferreting out illegals and keeping them under surveillance. Seeing if they flee and where. Make them feel safe before they lower the boom.
