Tom Steyer, the California billionaire with too much time on his hands and too much ego for one man to possess, says he’s running for president to defeat Donald Trump.

Getting $30 a carton to day for head lettuce. Harvesting 1,200 cartons per acre. Had a record of $70 per carton for celery this winter harvesting 1,500 cartons per acre. Strawberries are hurting Brussel sprouts have come way off. Cannery tomatoes look good. Shipping rice to China. Too many walnuts and maybe too many almonds. Author knows little about California agriculture but appears to hate white people especially white men.

Funny, it’s all “rich white guys” that are leading in the polls for the Democrat Presidential nominee, and not for lack of alternatives. Why?
Say this for ol’ Tom, he has a reliable source of funding for him to go the distance in this race, funding that shall now be diverted from any of the other hopefuls.
Could go all the way to the convention. If so, Tom better have a good clear message, because he has nowhere the name recognition that Donald Trump has.

Trump is a rich white guy and we love him!!! We can’t condemn the Dems for having their own rich white guy even though he is a POS!!! The thing about their rich white guy is he’s out there condemning corporations and their wealth AND he IS part of that what a fricking hypocrite!!!

Styer KNOWS he can not win. He just wants to push the party into the impeachment because the Democrats are focus grouping the message. Styer knows the playbook of “promise free stuff” and he wants to insure HIS priority receives attention.

Are any of Tom Steyer’s Democratic opponents fit to be President?
Given the weak Democratic opposition, Tom figures he has a chance to at least win the Democratic nomination. Adulation and expense account living without responsibility.
Tom sees much the same thing Trump saw when looking at Jeb Bush, etc. back in 2015.
The difference between them is that President Trump is doing this for no salary, and his policies do not benefit his business. Steyer is doing this entirely to prop up his environnental business.
I don’t think people even like Steyer all that much. His adulation exists in his mind.
IMHO, Steyer's not really running for president himself. He's running to impeach and remove the current president, Donald Trump.
He's also running to remove $100 million from his wallet and throw it down a rathole. That's the amount of his personal fortune he said he would spend getting elected.
This guy will have his own cash to sustain himself in the race for awhile, but nobody is buying what he's selling.
My view is that he's just replacing the recent dropout, Swalwell, as the democRATic village idiot.
