Acosta is not the bad guy here. He's the only person who actually got results, and he was acting outside his jurisdiction when doing it.
Acosta is being unfairly used by the Democrats to pivot Epstein away from them and into a Trump scandal.

How come the “great author” Patterson didn’t delve into Clinton’s activity with enthusiasm? Instead, he wrote a book with him

Why didn’t Trump say anything? Maybe because criminal enterprises of this nature often operate under the protection of corrupted law enforcement.
Turns out that the FIB have not been so friendly with President Trump. Maybe the FIB have high-ranking members who are in on it.
Also, the author is naive to speculate why certain entities would be reluctant to prosecute due to blackmail. If anyone had this kind of dirt on them, they would not hesitate to murder rather than prosecute. Would corrupt leaders within the FIB really say, “Uh oh, we can’t prosecute Epstein because he has videos of us having sex with minors”? Of course not, they would assassinate him.
That’s what I would have thought; they get compromised, blackmailed and controlled but keep going? I’m inclined now to think it’s probably more of an initiation to an exclusive powerful club with like-minded psychopaths. Like the pics of those young Ivy Leaguers all posing with their Red Shoes.
How do you know he didn’t research it? There is a little thing called slander.
And I think the fact that he wrote a book about him only lends to his credibility.

He meant Epstein didn't belong to anything good or rub his miserable life up against anything decent or moral.
Epstein was a deep state government blackmail contractor who really loved his works....

It wouldn’t be slander if he chronicled all of the flights that Clinton took on Epstein’s plane.
