WASHINGTON - Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez teamed up with Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday to demand that Congress declare climate change a national emergency.
“This is a political crisis of inaction,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a press call announcing her new House resolution. “It’s going to take political will (and) political courage in order for us to treat this issue with the urgency that the next generation needs in order for us to preserve our way of life and in order for us to preserve our planet as much as we possibly can.”
The freshman rep said the House resolution - and companion one that presidential candidate Sanders will introduce in the Senate - is the first step to enacting “sweeping” reforms to slash greenhouse gas emissions.
“We have less than 12 years,” Ocasio-Cortez said of the time left to “fully enact a global solution.”
The largely symbolic resolution would state that global warming caused by humans has created a “climate emergency” that urgently impacts the health, safety and security of the United States, according to a draft.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Ocasio-Cortez indicates support for targeting energy companies with liability lawsuits
Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders are among a trio of lawmakers Opens a New Window. that will introduce a resolution declaring a climate emergency on Tuesday, and one way Democrats may seek to initiate change is by suing energy companies.
While discussing what actions could be taken to rein in the fossil fuel industry, Ocasio-Cortez called climate liability lawsuits – which are brought against energy companies for climate-related problems – a “fascinating tool” during a press call with reporters.
Ocasio-Cortez remained largely mum on other actionable steps that could be taken, instead adding that there are a lot “of exciting avenues,” including exploring the option of public banks as an alternative to Wall Street, in what would seem to be an effort to reduce contributions to the fossil fuel industry.
Sanders added that what actions are specifically taken will be an ongoing discussion.

Lets just deem it a done deal. After all, freakin’ Obamacare was deemed passed so why not “climate change”? I mean, that’s how our government is supposed to work, right?

If they actually believed in “Climate Change” it would have been the only topic at the debates. Everything else would be irrelevant.
Suppose there was a ten mile wide asteroid heading for Earth. Would anybody answer questions in Spanish? Would anybody talk about ANYTHING else? No. Yet, was there anything said about Climate Change?
Not to mention the fact that to get such fabrications and lies widely published and publicized by both the "scientific" and media cabals is a real, actual, provable, conspiracy to steal hundreds of billions of dollars from the the Federal government.
