This problem of not educating for non college type jobs in public schools started well before the Obama administration. Perhaps some who were in high school between the 1960s and Obama admin. can she some light. When I was in high school in the mid 1950’s our school had a good balanced approach.

Well I was not in HS in the 1960s, but I do remember having a vocational-tech program/track.

Obama is who was pushing for everyone to go to college—of course that really meant everyone should be taking out massive government loans and having minimal job prospects upon graduation from college with worthless degrees...
