Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, two self-identified transvestites — men who dress in women’s clothing, as opposed to men who think they are women. This year, historical revisionists successfully lobbied the city of New York to install a statue of these two crossdressers outside Stonewall. The problem, historians theorize, is that Rivera was blacked out on heroin 30 blocks north in Bryant Park as the riots unfolded, and Johnson admitted in interviews he wasn’t there when it started. Criminals and con men aren’t the worst among their number, sadly they’re among the better. The criminals are at least sometimes acting out of human motives (bad motives to be sure) rather than motives embracing some inhuman Cultural Suicide Fetish.

If she’s a raving loon, simply do not invite her and your son over for dinner (Thxgiving, Xmas, etc.). It may be difficult, but as far as I’m concerned, if a relative is a screaming loon of whatever political persuasion, it is perfectly fine not to tolerate his/her crap on any occasion.
Some of my relatives are very liberal, but I am thankful to God that none of them are raving lunatics.

Journalist Andy Ngo was attacked and bloodied by Antifa in Portland OR.
The attack was caught on tape and has outraged countless numbers of people including some very high profile leaders who are calling for these incidents of intolerance to be prosecuted and more.
An owner of a large security company has offered protective services for Andy free of charge.
A group of sympathizers set up a gofundme page with a target of 50k and it was already past 25k in the first two hours.
I saw Andy interviewed. He is likable, talented, peaceful. I would not hesitate to help him.
But the general media in their moronic fashion had to emphasize that “ANDY IS GAY”.
WTH does that have to do with anything?
I suppose it can be used as a cudgel of sorts to imprint the incident as “violent leftists attack gays”, but these Antifa thugs are already branded as intolerant without calling attention to Andy Ngo’s sexual sin.
Andy is a sinner, I am a sinner.
But I am a reforming Christian where I work to renounce my sin and free myself from it. Andy can be a Christian too but he has to renounce his sin. He won’t as long as he stays a homosexual.
If I had been in Andy’s place in Portland, here is how the general media might have written what happened to me:
“A far-right conservative Trump supporter, some sources tell us is a White Supremacist, provoked a group of peaceful protestors into chasing him away.”
They’re all hypnotized. You have to try to snap them out of it some other way.
Ask your grandkids if the want to see what Mommy looked like at their age, and drag out the old home movies. Maybe it will take her back to a time before the left ruined absolutely everything. If not, well, you’ve killed some time.
I recently reconnected with a high school friend who’s unfortunately a Bernie supporter. I haven’t mentioned a word about politics yet. I did use the phrase “politically incorrect” once in a text. She said “that’s a triggering term”, and I then asked “So what would you call the Chinese Fire Drills we used to do at traffic lights?” And of course we both thought that was funny. I’m trying to remind her of how things USED TO BE, and how she used to be herself, before the thought police took over.

The festering sore of Bush v. Gore was given newer fodder for outrage, and anarchist groups arose as a result. An exponential coarsening of the culture began shortly after. The most radical Islamic groups found friendly turf in the push back against what we knew attacked us.
