What is rising somewhat uncontrollably is the BS in the cesspool beneath the Capitol.

In parts of Alaska the land is rising where glaciers have been receding for hundreds of years.
It's called isostatic or post-glacial rebound.

“This is really a slam dunk for us. If the Pacific is showing no rise, if the islands are stable, then why all this alarm?”

What about the Atlantic, you moron!

This is really a slam dunk for us. If the Pacific is showing no rise, if the islands are stable, then why all this alarm?

It's all about raising your taxes.

It's all about raising gas prices so high that....

It's all about putting you screaming into an electric car that will cost so much....

It's all about you NEVER figuring out it is all a scam.

If the average American could think and reason, they would see that proving it is a scam is VERY EASY. This graph shows that the only long term temperature rise is the ADJUSTED TEMPERATURES (RED LINE), NOT the MEASURED TEMPERATURES (BLUE LINE).

It would take a while to explain WHY they think they have to ADJUST temperatures but some of the reasons are reasonable and correct. Most of the adjustments are to support the CO2 scam which says CO2 concentrations will cause increased warming.

For example, anyone who has read THE GRAPES OF WRATH should realize the 1930's were much hotter than anything in the last few decades.

Or wait a few years and the pack of idiots known as presstitutes will tell us that we are all going to freeze to death. History repeats itself over and over. This time, they want to tax you to death AND destroy the western economies. Hussein Obama was all in for destroying the west.

I read this to my wife (who’s a genius, IQ 130+) and she immediately said, “Oh that’s within the margin of measurement error.”

I was a 6 sigma black belt for 10 years and I know she’s right. That’s also true of the temperature measurements.

"The average relative rate of rise and acceleration of the 29 long-term-trend (LTT) tide gauges of Japan, Oceania and West Coast of North America, are both negative, −0.02139 mm yr−1 and −0.00007 mm yr−2 respectively"

High tide to low tide is what? 2.4 meters, on a daily basis?

They're looking for an annual trend that's on the order of one millimeter per year, against a daily variation of 2400, mm, a three-order-of-magnitude S/N ratio (the noise is more than a thousand times the signal).

Then they're calculating the second time derivative of that signal, and they expect anyone to take it seriously? Second derivative of the noisy signal will have a S/N ratio of like a million times worse. And they're reporting a value that's measured literally in nanometers per year squared.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm stupid, but I don't get it. How can that number mean anything.

If the atmosphere were hot enough to melt ice, it would also be hot enough to evaporate a lot of water from the oceans.

There is an evaporative cycle that includes rain.

Flying over the South Pacific, I was struck by the cloud formations: like cloud-cap mushrooms with rain-storm stems. Lots of them. In that area, the sea water is warm.

.02 mm is pretty small, isn’t it? I don’t think I can see .02 mm on a tape measure to mark it with a pencil, can I?

In any case, we’re not talking about some dramatic rise or fall as the alarmists are telling us.

This has to be the math done over countless measurements taken and we’re seeing mathematical differences and not measured ones.

Ice IS melting and seas ARE rising, just not at the pace climate alarmists claim. Seas have been rising since the end of the last ice age (glacial period) about 10,000 years ago, and will continue to rise until the onset of the next ice age. It's a pattern that has been repeating since long before man. We are fortunate to live in a nice, cozy interglacial period. It's the next glacial period that will be a serious threat to most species on the planet.

Climate alarmists are designing their climate models to produce fake predictions of vastly accelerated and catastrophic sea level rise. People investing money know it's all BS. Investors are spending hundreds of millions of dollars building beachfront resorts, knowing full well that rising seas will not threaten them for a century after their useful life.

0.02 mm is 20 microns; the diameter of a human hair is usually given as about 60 microns. 0.02 micron is about one-third the diameter of a human hair.

Sorry, I meant to say 0.02 mm is about one-third the diameter of a human hair.

The Pacific isn’t rising. Just the Atlantic where the corrupt politicians reside.

I am surprised that area hasn't capsized, like that idiot said about Guam capsizing. 😁😆

Yep. Quite contrary to the ice loss narrative promoted by the media and "credentialed" AGW promotors. Biomass has been increasing as well as cloud nucleation. Bravo to Eddy.

I predict an increasing rate of drop over the next 30 years. We are living in interesting times.

A NOAA dataset that allows one to view many sea level trends and their variations over 50 year increments. US and international. The data is there for anyone to see. Minimal changes. Maximum BS

I would be very interested to know what global coastal desalination plants would do to offset whatever increase in total ocean water that is anticipated.

I know it sounds crazy, at first glance, but just in the US alone we used something like 20-30 trillion gallons of water/year. If some of that, not just from the US, but around the globe, could come from desalination, and the wastewater was routed such that it wound up in the groundwater, it might have a significant effect restoring groundwater, using up some of the additional ocean water that is predicted, and overall improving quality of life. Haven't done any serious research on this, and am just throwing it out there.
