The thing is, this sort of "bargaining" or "deal making" should have been done a very long time ago in his administration.
Every month, over 100,000+ foreign nationals are caught trying to violate our laws, and at least another 100,000+ are not caught. Every damned month.
Our nation of laws and national sovereignty should not be turned into a political football.
If the deal Trump is looking for includes amnesty for ANY of the illegals, that will errode his credibility with his base.
Trump doesn't stop just because he doesn't get a deal at the time......In his run he made it clear sometimes when you can't get a fair deal you have to walk away and revisit it another time. His motto is no deal if not a fair deal. He wants 'permanent' changes that only Congress can do...not quick fix's.
