However, this negotiation with the (D)'s should have happened well within the first month of them taking the house. Not many months later after hundreds of thousands more foreign nationals subverted our laws and sovereignty.
The word has been out, for far too long, that the us border is wide open and once here, your good to go. That needs to change, yesterday.

My question is that given the presented status of those selected for deportation.... what is a bipartizen effort going to gin up to change the law to prevent the deportation of those who already had their day in court and lost?
I don’t understand the reason for this presidential gambit.
I interpret it as a fork. The president announces he is going to conduct a roundup (one prong). Then he announces he called it off. ( prong two)
While prong one is in abeyance, the congress either acts or it does not. . (subprongs 3 and 4)Regardless, the president wins the second fork by getting the desired action or getting no action which is a point of severe criticism of democrats.
Then, once prong two is played out, he can and in fact must resume the actions of fork prong 1.

Exactly to the point. “Negotiating” on this issue is wrong. Deportations of illegal aliens should begin now, not in two weeks. That’s about as much as Trump himself can control at the moment.
