President Trump announced Saturday that a planned mass roundup of illegal immigrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is being delayed for two weeks, in the hope that a bipartisan solution to the border crisis can be reached.
“At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border,” he tweeted.
“If not, Deportations start!” he added.

Why would they? Trump announced deportations. Then he called off deportations. And he's no closer to fulfilling his campaign promises than in 2016. If I warn my kids they'll be punished for not cleaning their rooms, and they don't clean their room, and I don't punish them..........

Of THAT I have ZERO doubts. I have been preaching to anyone who will listen that either in 2021 or 2025 the dims will get the house, senate and presidency. The very first thing I believe they will do is amend the 1964 civil right amendment to include LGBT..XYZ. This will pretty much kill the 501c3 in America...and Christianity as we have known it for the last 50 years. It will be time to put up or shut up in so many churches. What we have seen in Catholic charities with Obama-care and what we see in Canada is just a pre-cursor to what is coming.
If he doesn't win in 2020 and can't stack any more juticices on the court...then we are really hosed. If he can win in 2020 and we can replace a couple of our older ones and RBG...we may have a chance....but let's face it...we are living on borrowed time either way. I live in Tejas. Right now only 27.7% of the kids in public school (K-12) are white. NO...that was not a typo...27.7%. Texas is not long for the GOP.
Trump has NEVER been helpless on the immigration issue.

Trump could also implement Universal E-Verify by Executive Order - because it has a pristine legal history of statutes, regulations, and Executive Orders that date back to 1986.
Bottom Line - Trump has never been an immigration hawk, except on the issue of violent illegal immigrants.
After 29 months in office, Trump has just one quantifiable achievement on immigration - he reduced UN Refugees from 80,000 per year to 30,000 per year.
On every other important immigration metric, Trump's numbers are within plus or minus 10% of Obama’s numbers.
Congress will only consider amnesty as a solution.
The GOP wants amnesty, too.
Most of them would not sign on.
Flimsey Grahamnesty has to be removed from office.
He has said repeatedly he will work for amnesty until he is removed from office.
Every month, over 100,000+ foreign nationals are caught trying to violate our laws, and at least another 100,000+ are not caught. Every damned month.
Our nation of laws and national sovereignty should not be turned into a political football.
If the deal Trump is looking for includes amnesty for ANY of the illegals, that will errode his credibility with his base.
Fix the problems or we will deport everyone.
