This kind of #resistance will be less welcomed by the NYT.

Gotta love the spin and blatant bias.

Remember NYT taking the same stance when the Dems ran out on Wisconsin?

“Send bachelors and come heavily armed,” Mr. Boquist said he told Travis Hampton, superintendent of the Oregon State Police. “I’m not going to be a political prisoner in the state of Oregon. It’s just that simple.”

Beautiful.

This is pretty funny.

BTW, an EXCELLENT source on the global warming farce is this guy:

His videos kill it. And the one above shows how even Fox is in on it.

The presstitutes loved this activity when the Democrats did it in Texas (ran away to Oklahoma) years ago.

Good to see Republcans putting up a fight. I’ve heard that Oregon Republicans, who are mainly from outside Portland and Eugene, act like Marines.

I would never had thought that the next war between the States would start in Oregon.

But hey, bring it like the one Senator had to say. I will not go peacefully into the night.

Per the Boise, ID news https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/local/it-would-be-a-death-knell-eastern-oregon-truckers-weigh-in-on-cap-and-trade/277-842be194-3b6e-4bac-9a75-6728ec9a642d this would destroy all of the small trucking companies in the Peoples Republics of Oregon. Gov Brown and the Demonrat controlled legislature have shown themselves to be true blue fascists.

I was an Oregon resident for 18 years of my 25 years in the US Air Force and when I retired my wife and I wanted to return, but there are no jobs that pay in Central Oregon and we couldn’t bare the thought of living in the lefty haven of the Willamette Valley. If this goes through it will wipe at all industry and agriculture in Oregon. Most of my wife’s relatives are barely hanging on with the high cost of living, this will wipe them out.

The Slimes forgot the adjective “highly controversial”, as in “highly controversial climate bill”. They always make sure they include that in any Republican proposal.

Why are the police even involved?

Did the Republicans break a law?

You know, I kind of have a different take on Oregon. For a long time, Oregon Republicans have been like a rickety dam stemming the tide of liberalism. The Dems appeal to the radical left, but even the corporatist Dems know that the radical left is looney, so they use the Republicans as a scapegoat, saying “we can’t give you all this radical stuff because the Republicans won’t approve it”, when even they know it’s a bad idea.

I say, let the dam break. Give the left all of their crazy ideas. Let them run Oregon into the ground. If you’ve been to Portland, the city isn’t worth saving. Let it go the way of Detroit.

I won’t he a hypocrite like her (as a State Senator Brown herself once supported a walk out by Oregon House rats over redistricting), and castigate her for doing this. I would have supported Texas invading Oklahoma to bring those democrat State Senators back in 2004.

This is why a quorum should just be a majority and not a supermajority. We could see this tactic being used a lot by both sides in any state with this issue.
