Strangest post I’ve seen today, but it’s still early.
Sad state of affairs that the President of the United States has to play diplomatic and military chess not just with our international enemies, but with our domestic ones-the Democrats-as well.
An Iran War would be extremely unpopular with the public, especially with coffins coming back home. Trump ran on bringing the troops home. It would also crash the economy, and would mean his 2020 prospects would be dead. Of course the Democrats want war.
If Trump was President during WWII the dems would have to be put into internment camps.
I don't think so. So speak for yourself.
It should be a simultaneous attack on Iran and the NYT times.
Invading Iran would be extremely unpopular, if you don’t think there’s still lingering Iraq War fatigue, then you’re wrong.
Trump would be successfully smeared as a warmonger who is deploying troops in Iran while the border is in chaos.
So let me get this straight. It was news a couple of weeks ago that Kerry, Feinstein, and others were “chatting” with the Iranians. I’m absolutely sure they were talking about grandkid and other family things but....

I bet POTUS saw that on TV or twitter and realized he might be getting played so he backed off and (IMHO) had his staff leak it to the NYT.
I read this morning somewhere that the Iranians said they had also targeted a P8 and decided to hit the unmanned drone instead. if true, this would stage a pity party where POTUS took human life (sudden appearance of massive numbers of poor women and children in the bomb site) after Iran shot down an unmanned drone. Perfect setup for the Dems and their activist media.
Now is the time for him to sit back and survey his 6’oclock. No need to hurry there is plenty of time

Exactly, and that was why I was thinking that they were behind some of this. Trying to goad President Trump into a war with Iran and to use that in the 2020 elections.
