Medic testifies that he, not Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, was responsible for ISIS fighter's death

A medic testifying in the trial of Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher – who is accused of killing an injured ISIS prisoner of war in Iraq – has shockingly testified Thursday that he is the one who killed the militant, not Gallagher.

The medic told a court at Naval Base San Diego that he killed the fighter by asphyxiation. He also testified that Gallagher stabbed the fighter, but did not kill him.

Gallagher, 40, has pleaded not guilty to premeditated murder and aggravated assault charges stemming from the alleged killing of a wounded ISIS fighter and alleged instances of firing sniper rounds at civilians in Iraq.

Gallagher was undergoing a medical screening at Camp Pendleton and was in the process of transitioning to a non-combat advisory role for the Navy SEALs when he was taken into custody in September 2018, his brother Sean said. Gallagher had planned to retire in the spring.

FNC just reported that medic killed the kid because after medic would have saved his life the kid would have been turned over to the Iraqi military. The medic further stated the Iraqi military would have tortured the kid an medic didn’t want that to happen.

It was a mercy killing.

The US has huge issues that go way beyond this one case because of this testimony by the medic.

25 years of experience with UCMJ, as a trial counsel, commander, Court Martial member, President of Court Martial, Convening Authority, Summary Court Judge. Never a defendant or a Defense Counsel. Combat experience at infantry platoon and rifle company level, command experience at company, battalion, and Colonel level.

This experience led me to withhold my opinion before I know the evidence presented at court.

If I were a member of this court, I would wonder what the Trial Counsel was thinking when he put this witness on the stand.

That bears repeating, as often as necessary, to get the message out. Wearing civilian clothes does not make a combatant a civilian (as the msm would have you believe) — it makes him a war criminal.

It’s difficult if not impossible to ascertain the alleged facts from an article advocating a position. Mysteriously things get left out.

Exactly. Good reason to avoid making assertions that you can’t back up. What do you think that the Military Judge does next?

This military is upside down, ISIS is NOT a military, in a uniform, from a country, rules of engagement should NOT APPLY!!!

I must be mistaken. I could have sworn that in times of war, the rules of the game include killing the “bad guys” on the other side. I don’t get these new rules at all.

Stabbing a prisoner with a knife (if true) is still a major no-no and can be prosecuted as attempted murder.

The whole thing is a scam to get this guy off. We are supposed to believe after years and years in the system just now in the trial someone else did it? I dont think so. Both killers deserve life.

Wow, the leftist prosecutors (looking to add to their resumes) in this case are desperate to get a Seal scalp. You one-up them by wanting to get two. Congratulations!

You're a troll and have never had to worry about your loved one(s) being taken to court over giving their blood and life for this country.

This trial is meant for one thing and one thing only and that is to scare our armed forces into letting these savages take their lives because they fear being forever remembered as a murderer and going to jail for the rest of their lives.
