Yeah except Trump can’t pardon him for any of the “crimes” the State of New York prosecutes.
He’s in NYC precisely because NY wants him to die in prison. He’s facing state charges that the President can’t pardon him for. They’re the same crimes he’s already been convicted of - and will likely leave him beyond bars for life.
