One of the things I’ve like about President Trump is that he hasn’t seemed to be overly swayed by the neocon warmongers who think we should have an empire (800 bases in 90 countries is an empire) and attack anyone who *might* be a threat to us preemptively.

Thanks for posting Ike’s prescient words. He saw it coming, as Washington foresaw our R/D Uniparty, warned of in his farewell address.

One more thing. Our “greatest generation” is basically gone. The people that participated in and lived through WWII, and its destruction and death and sadness. Military and gov leaders that wanted no more of that Hell on Earth.
