House Democrats appeal judge's ruling against their border wall lawsuit
CNN ^ | June 10, 2019 | Priscilla Alvarez

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives is appealing a federal judge's decision not to block President Donald Trump from funding a border wall.

Earlier this month, Judge Trevor McFadden said the House lacked standing to bring the challenge and that he did not believe the court should step into the fight between the President and Congress. The decision was a knock on the House, which has been opposed to the construction of Trump's border wall.

The lawsuit argues Trump's choice to move funds for the wall violated the Appropriations Clause of the Constitution, which gives Congress power over the designation of federal spending. The House asked McFadden to block spending of money transferred for the wall in addition to future transfers.

Good. Let them appeal to SCOTUS, who will hopefully rule appropriately and shut up these people once and for all.

They’ll never shut up. Two things we know about Dimocrats (spelling intentional): 1. They won’t stop their treason until they’ve succeeded and brought down our Constitution, and 2. If they ever again hold a majority Congress and the White House, America will lose its liberty.

I don’t believe even SCOTUS will
consider the appeal. There’s only
two was to stop an emergency
declaration. By presidential
decree, and a 2/3 majority in
both houses vote to override
a veto. Congress is fully aware
of the process.

Wall or no wall it’s getting extremely late..Texas is a breath away from turning into another liberal blue hell hole!! The onslaught of the invaders WILL MAKE A FUTURE DIFFERENCE outnumbering Republicans!! Once that happens..TEXAS IS DEAD to any republican candidate. I’m very disappointed in actionless governor Abbott...the Congo is in invading San Antonio and there is nothing our officials are doing about it..scary part more are to follow! I wish they would be shipped to DC and housed in the hallways of our Congress offices..bastards!

WE BUILT THE WALL!! And this is how it looks! (Brian Kolfage We Build The Wall Inc. President/Founder)

Our first wall segment is complete just outside of El Paso Texas! We are now working on segment #2. ...The first wall we built is GROUND ZERO for illegal drugs, migrants and human sex slaves coming across, as you can see in the video link. PROJECTS 2 & 3 : WILL ANNOUNCE LOCATION WHEN CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE..STATUS: CONTRACTING PHASE https://www.gofundme.com/thetrumpwall

US Army Corps of Engineers said it was "Impossible to Build" and we were informed it would take roughly 2 years and $40 Million to complete had it been contracted out to the government to build. We completed it in a matter of days and for a FRACTION of the cost, literally moved a mountain to get it built and up a sharp incline at 31% grade. Proving once again "We The People" can unite in a time of crisis to get the job done!

In this small section of border US Border Patrol public affairs office stated that over 1000 people cross each day on average, and over $200k-$300k worth of illegal drugs enter America. This is a vital smuggling route for the most ruthless cartel, the Juarez Cartel. Who murdered thousands of innocent civilians and journalist and trafficked sex slaves across our border. WE ARE STOPPING THEM NOW!

You may have seen misleading stories that GoFundMe kicked us off their platform and refunded everyone's money. It's not true !.....Incredible news, senators and congressmen want us to build more wall for the government privately on a parallel path with POTUS. Together we can build more to secure our nation. .....we have an official delegation flying down to tour our wall!

PS. (It is understood they do not announce where they are building next to prevent groups from interfering with the permits etc.)

This is what border security looks like! @WeBuildtheWall built the Cadillac of walls. Look at that LED lighting, same lights that are in football stadiums! ...Zero crossings!

No mention in the article that Congress already gave the president the authority. No mention that democrat presidents have already used that authority multiple times with no complaints from the democrats in congress.

Once again what we have here is another propaganda news article.

It is a great piece of wall, in a much needed location, but it is an exaggeration to claim:

“US Army Corps of Engineers said it was “Impossible to Build” and we were informed it would take roughly 2 years and $40 Million to complete had it been contracted out to the government to build.”

That estimate was to completely close the more than two mile steep gap across Mount Cristo Rey. They only built the easiest four tenths of a mile on the far side (East) from President Trump’s new twenty mile stretch (which starts at the Western base of the Mountain). All of the steepest areas, and the main smuggling trails across the Mountain, are still left wide open.

It is an excellent piece of wall, but it falls far short of effectively blocking that route. It is simple to walk around. It does not compare to the effort that the Corps of Engineers estimated would cost $40 million.

The design looks to be extremely solid, durable and effective. It should integrate well (seamlessly) with Border Patrol’s other barrier systems.

I don’t know. Congress handles the purse stings. I’m not confident on Supreme on this one. One thing I do know is that democrats hate the United States.

“If Texas turns blue, we will never have another Republican as President.”

Texas foolishly invited the population of New York and California to move there. What did they think was going to happen?

No appeal. No jurisdiction.

Courts aren’t the final arbitrator of inter-branch dispute. Else they’d be above the other two.

The Federal government has allowed our borders to be wide open and has invited the entire population of Mexico to move here. Anchor babies that entered our country 20 years ago have been breeding like rabbits and will soon be legal voters. In another 20 years that population will have at least doubled. Think about that for a minute.

And to make matters worse, you are correct, we have invited people from socialists states to participate in our economy and of course they are bringing their socialism with them and will eventually destroy our great state.

It was good while it lasted.
