Americans' support for liberal policymaking has reached a 60-year high, according to a new survey.

Vox reported that public support for more regulation, higher taxes and more social services reached the highest level on record in the latest edition of Policy Mood, an aggregate overview of American opinion based on a range of polls on a variety of issues.

According to Vox, the finding was first reported by James Stimson, a political scientist at the University of North Carolina who has published numerous books on public opinion research.

“The annual estimate for 2018 is the most liberal ever recorded in the 68 year history of Mood,” he wrote. “Just slightly higher than the previous high point of 1961.”

Only ¡YEB! can save us from Hillary.
Donald Trump will never be the Republican nominee.
All the polls say Hillary by a landslide.

Yes, propaganda ... but it rather frightens me all the same. Too many low-information, emotionally overwrought voters out there.

Wasn’t there a famous quote about people not being worried about enslavement as long as they served a benevolent master?

I'm inclined to believe it. We have tens of millions of entitlement minded foreigners living here who contribute absolutely zero to civilization or humanity. They have invaded America, some at the behest of obama, others at the behest of jorge busho, solely for the purpose of stealing our wealth.

The working class is a shrinking demographic. Shrinking only because globalist traitors, our career politicians, are bringing in our enemies by the tens of millions.

Yeah, I'll buy the headline.

From the source site:

“The annual estimate for 2018 is the most liberal ever recorded in the 68 year history of Mood, just slightly higher than the previous high point of 1961. It represents the expected leftward movement in thermostatic reaction to the Presidency of Donald Trump. The biennial estimate shows the same leftward movement, but the 2018 level is not as left as the early 1960s estimates. It should not be taken, however, as only a personal reaction to Trump because its defining items are the issues of American politics of earlier generations, the New Deal and Great Society agenda. And the estimates do not include Trump’s signature issues of immigration restriction and trade protectionism.”

A benevolent master is the product of his propaganda department - just ask J. Stalin.

Projection again. Likely 80% of those who were polled identified as dems. The others hung up.

I notice the story gives no specifics on what those liberal policies are that are so popular.

low-information, emotionally overwrought voters = Democrats = Targets.

They've had years to determine that trying to destroy the Constitution would be a fatal decision. The clock is running down.

"Yes, propaganda ... but it rather frightens me all the same."

Same here.. The millennials are all whack-up in the head (thanks to our public education system) and the influx of all those commies from down south makes for some real bad mojo for our nation's future...
