Former IAEA official says Israel, Gulf states, 'need to be worried' about Iran's emerging nuclear abilities.
Olli Heinonen, who headed the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) security team and served as the organizations' deputy director general, on Wednesday morning told Army Radio that Israelis on the whole are not aware of the severity of the Iranian threat.
"Israelis need to be worried, and the Gulf states also have reason for concern," Heinonen said. "How will you be able to ensure your security if Iran achieves nuclear abilities?"
In the full interview, which will be aired Thursday morning, Heinonen said that despite IAEA's claims, Iran can develop nuclear weapons in up to six to eight months.

They have been six months away for years. The issue is the amount of refined uranium they have. Based on the way they have been running their centrifuges they are stockpiling low level stock, but a lot of it.
All they need to do is start taking the raw uranium out of the process and start adding their low level material—which they can refine to weapons grade much faster that processing raw material. It is a function of the process and how they daisy chain the units.
So, the statement is not new. Nor is the “danger.” I am sure the Israelis know exactly how many units are spinning and whats in them.
The “danger” point is hitting them at the point where the residual radioactive contamination will hurt too many Iranian civilians.
The IDFAF will hit them the day before that level.

Yep, a pivotal moment is looming and I think it will be sooner rather than later. Iran is well aware of the election cycle in this country and is probably factoring that into their development strategy.
I don’t see why it’s 6 months away, we have an aircraft Carrier over there, it’s only minutes away.
